BeyondTime Posted May 2, 2015 I have a white skin girl with some staining, how well is this stuff working? Is there any risk of discoloration? Has anyone tried it on white skin? I had read it has issues with white skin, but I can't confirm that. I don't have any dolls with white skin, and only one semi-white who has never been stained. Arctic, if its not working you might try Remove-zit. I don't really know anything about that one though. Dream Rescue has worked for me on several dolls without issue, so never needed to try anything else. It was the only thing I used, and I did apply it pretty much as soon as the stains occurred. It seems to me like there should have been some fading of the stains with that much application. The kind of dye could play a role too. The stains I dealt with were all wig cap and powder stains. Fabrics dyes might be tougher, but I don't know for sure. Don't give up though. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction

BeyondTime Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Arctic, I thought I would post this in case it helps. I'm removing some stains from my Saber Lily's hands. They are a mix of clothing stains and stains from her Excalibur sword hilt. I thought at least here you would be able to see how much of the cream I apply. After about 12 hours the stains were somewhat faded, and I have applied a second coat here. I just laid a zip lock bag over the plate they are resting on to keep the cream moist. http://i.imgur.com/yCSyNUZ.jpg Edited May 5, 2015 by Guest The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Will try that after the currect cream-cycle, hopefully that will help.

I would suggest test on her head cap or bottom of a foot first to test for color fastness. I did notice a very slight discoloration when I did this to Makoto's head, but it was gone a few days later. I had to look really close and know where the cream had been to see it in the first place. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? N2DollsNow Posted May 6, 2015 The stuff sounds like a version of "Remove Zit" which seems to have many of the same properties and similar instructions as the product sold by Volks. Here's a link to a picture dobleepented example of stain removal. I've used "Remove Zit" and I have only this to add: the surface texture of the treated areas feels slightly rougher than untreated areas. I've seen the slight swelling mentioned, and I was initially alarmed, but the swelling does subside. In any case, the stuff works better for me than the acne creams. I think you'll find the information helpful. http://www.wolfheinrich.com/2010/11/25/dollfie-dream-stain-removal-process/
Venetica Posted May 11, 2015 Hey guys, I found this stain remover on Tata's Paradise: (Google search "NO:LIM048 Cleansing Cream-WHITE" since I can't post URLs) Has anyone used it? It's super cheap, especially compared to Dream Rescue and Remove-Zit.
