Volks x Type Moon Preorder Project!

According to the Tenshi-no-Sumika event blog, the speculated release of Saber Nero is not going to be a Dollpa release, but a preorder web project, with a second version of Saber Alter to boot!

Here's what the blog has to say.

 

Two Sabers make their debut for our 4th “Limited Dollfie Dream Pre-Order Project.” Saber Alter will wear an outfit designed by Takashi Takeuchi Sensei exclusively for this project for her second appearance!!

 

 

 

So the two mysterious outfits everyone was trying to figure out on the Dollpa 26 thread are a training outfit and a swimsuit!

Looks like you were right, baldylox, A training outfit is basically gym clothes!

I wonder what the actual Dolpa limiteds will be now!

Heh, I am sure liking the Alter designs. It's cool that I was right about the "training set". That one is too cute. Unless Saber Extra is beyond awesome, I'm thinking it's Alter who I will try and get. Her bathing suit is too adorable.

I agree that Saber has a certain "look" to her that commands attention even if you have no clue who she is or what she represents. So you're not laone when you say that this Alter is going to be a must have. As long as her face looks good, I am going to be preordering her. It's what *MY* inner fangirl is screaming for. LOL

 

They do pre-order bonuses? I'm new to pre-orders so I have no clue what's involved. Can you explain a bit?

There's no way a Saber dollfie is going to have a bad-looking face. Alter might end up with the original face sculpt she shared with Saber, or a white skin version of Lily's sculpt.

 

When Volks did preorders for the White Album dollfies, as well as the Gurren Lagann dollfies, there was a bonus swimsuit for the people who preordered them in the first ordering period.

Not a lot of people preordered Nia, so her swimsuit is hard to find.

If you pre-order Yuki or Rina during this period they will come to you with additional swim suit sets! Don’t miss these cute extras! These swim suit sets are only gifted to the customers who pre-ordered during this period. If you miss this chance, your girls will not be able to get them through any other means! Each set will include not only a swim suit, but also sandals and some accessories as well!

 

Rina will come with her swim suit set and Yuki will come with hers! Please understand that they can’t switch out their swim suits. Our team must be sure that each girl will look best in her own swim suit!

I used to love anything dealing with Arthurian legend... it's a fascinating time in history and there are so many cool things related to it. Great info on the name you chose, thanks for that!

 

Well, I have to say that *to me* I would prefer the original Saber/Alter head to the Lily mold. Don't get me wrong, I like Lily, she's pretty. But I still much prefer the originals head to Lily. So if they did reuse that, I'd be in heaven. My only concern was if they did a new mold and it wasn't to *my* liking. I guess I'm kind of picky nowadays. That and this will be the first time I have ever ordered a brand new DD. I've only ever bought one secondhand. So this whole process is new to me.

 

Thanks very much for the info on the swimsuits! I just thought the one I got with my Yoko was a secondary set you had to buy like with Rin and Sabers sets. I had no clue they were freebies.... that's great! I hope they do something similar this time too.

Oh, you're a fan too? Who's your favorite knight of the Round Table? Have you listened to Heather Dale's music?

 

I would also like her to have the original sculpt, I like it better than Lily's. Lily is a bit too...demure? for my tastes. She's pretty, but too glowy/floaty for Saber.

Oh, and if you want more wigs for Saber in the same color, get Leekeworld's Evecocktail color! It looks to be a perfect match.

 

No problem, I like dispensing information, even if it is trivial sometimes. They've done it for both the previous preorders, why would they change it? :3

I can't wait to see the prototype of Alter! -glee-

When are they gonna have the pre-order up? I'd like to try and raise a bit of money and go for it.

I suspect the first preorder period will be in November or December, because there were three months between the announcement and preorders for the White Album DDs.

The Sept. issue of Comptiq included artwork of Saber Alter in her swimsuit, as well as Extra and Lily is swimsuits.

This is probably a preview of one of Saber Extra's outfits! Lily's is the same as the original Saber.

It's about time I get my second daughter. I hope I can save up until then~ (>_<)

Twitter buzz is currently saying that both new Sabers have the same face sculpt as the original Saber and Saber Alter.

That's rather disappointing... Saber Extra is a different person from the original Saber, and really should have her own sculpt. Especially since Saber Lily has her own sculpt...

 

Reissuing Saber Alter via pre-order, even with a new outfit, will upset a lot of people... No reason Volks couldn't give her a new, unique expression, or use Saber Lily's sculpt.

for some reason I was so sure Saber Nero would at least have a new sculpt but now turns out both will have the same , except one is normal and the other is while !

 

I certainly want to get one but I can't decide who XD white or normal skinned~ I think the final look of Nero will make me decide and then I'll hunt for Alters eyes ( which I've been looking for a while).

pricing sounds very good to me and it being a pre-order it shouldn't be hard to save and get them at the same .

 

as much as I would like to own a white skinned DD, I'm leaning more towards Saber Nero~

I'm still waiting to see what the Saber Nero dress will look like....But I'm leaning towards Nero since that is my favorite version of Saber. And so much for saving up for a new camera this year..

Well, if these rumors and info are to be beleived, the fact that they are using the original molds for these two makes me really happy. The pricing is also looking good. Now all I need is to see that red dress. If it's as nice as I hope it is, I'll go for Nero Saber. If it's not what I'm hoping for, then I'm getting Alter. I already like her clothing designs and her sword. That and the fact I don't own a white skinned DD yet are pushing me towards her more.

 

I guess as we get closer to the time to preorder, I'll be able to bette rmake up my mind. I surely can't go for both tho. I'll have to choose wisely....

From what I was told, Volks US will NOT be getting these at all. It iwll be international pre-orders only. I already spoke to Kerbey lane about doing the orders and I was told they aren't going to be able to do it.

 

I wasn't given a reason why tho. Maybe they don't know why yet either. So if KL can't do the pre-orders, that means Volks US won't be getting them.

You have to pay the entire amount as soon as they are ready to ship.
