Volks x Type Moon Preorder Project!

Volks has updated their page with all sorts of new information! http://www.volks.co.jp/jp/fate_ex/index.html

 

It seems that preorders will start on 9/23 and continue through 10/30, after which production will start and last until December. Orders will be shipped in January and February.

It mentions that if you preorder in-store (which is limited to VIP members) then you either have to pay in full or pay a deposit (a mere 5250 yen). It does not, however, mention any payment information for the web order. I think we'll just have to wait for more information from Volks USA or the Volks international page for how international/USA orders will be done.

 

Edit: Volks also mentioned on Twitter that Saber Alter will have the same faceup and eyes as the original Saber Alter, but Saber Extra will have a completely new faceup and new eyes. I hope they release pictures soon!

Alter is really beautiful! But I am a bit afraid because of white vinyl. I have a white skin resin and have had a lot of difficulties to bond with her ( though now I love her ).

It looks like the Volks International site is going to start taking pre-orders tomorrow til Oct 30!

 

I'm sure Volks USA will release their timeline sometime soon too. I've decided to suffer the long wait and order from Volks USA. It'll be cheaper for me since their prices are better (in terms of exchange rate), even if I do get hit with customs taxes afterwards.

Saber Extra standing looks amazing in that royal outfit. Color red does make a difference in clothes heh.

I love both of these but I don't think I'll have enough funds to get them, damn. Would anyone be interested in helping me out and preordering for me? I could pay you back as soon as I can for the DD. Oh, I don't want to miss these.

Yep, those extra outfits are great. I love the track jacket the most, but I'd be paranoid about staining! Maybe it'll be lined inside.

I would like to think it is but unfortunately Volks has released some outfits without lining that have been total "Stain Monsters".

 

It's sad when something they have complete control over is so poorly designed to be used on their own dolls.

I feel sooo hesitant

To be honnest, I just like the new Volks YoSD and I am afraid about the new dolls for dollpa in december.

So bad Volks makes so many events in such a short period.

I /have/ to get Alter now. She's gorgeous! Also, I think her new stockings have garters~

Oh wow, I am surprised to see pics before the preorder starts! Yay for no, "and this week's blog entry reveals Nia's accessories!" type thing. Guess it must be 'cause they are a re-used mold.

 

Extra is just not calling to me, and it doesn't look like she will even have any additional outfits, poor girl. ;_; Maybe she'll grow on me once I see closeup pics. Now Alter on the other hand . . . so cute! I fear she might never get to actually wear any of those lovely outfits if I bought her though, you'd think Volks would line these things.

I noticed that as well! I love that Lily's default outfit had garters but you really couldn't see them.

Pre-order will be through Volks US and Japan only. US is working on info now trying to get it up on their site for the weekend. Please be patient, all info coming soon. I have been told both Sabers are exceptional.
