Saber Lily is no different than those yellow box, secured on a cardboard with two ribbon ties to secure it. In my case both ribbon ties are cut right at the cardboard's edge during shipping making the doll basically wobbled around while coming to me. Nope, the thing is the Saber Lily is a brand new one shipped straight from Volks International. I know Volks' cheap cardboard tray for shipping has its draw backs. My DDS Marisa also new from Volks had one of the ribbon cut right at the edge of the cardboard tray too. But at least it had one ribbon uncut so when she's traveling across the ocean from Japan to Canada, she should be still secured (for most of the way at least I hope). Oh yeah, the pillow! Did any other DD come with that? I forgot, but I think some older DDs comes with the pillow? But of course it has since long gone as Volks then switched to those Yellow Boxes in like 2009. I originally thought sure the box is cheap, but it should be fine. And it was okay for my Kanu and Rin. But yeah Saber Lily and Marisa both had ribbons cut during shipping that really disappointed me. Hopefully my Saber Alter 2nd Version and Saber Nero's shipping box won't fail the same way. Poofiemus Posted February 25, 2012 That's a shorter gap between the first and second waves than I would have expected. I thought the gap was going to be around two months, while this is just a little over three weeks. Hopefully this means the gap between the two US waves will be shorter too! I didn't order either of these girls, but I am still *totally* looking forward to the pic spam. I'm glad that the first round of pic spam is coming soon!
