Volks x Type Moon Preorder Project!

Eeeep I'm in the second batch, I was just joking with someone about my Lucy potentially showing up from VolksUSA before both of the Sabers looks like she actually will now... not sure if I should laugh or cry at the moment

I am in the second run so I am a little bummed I wont get my girl in June I have some health things going on in the end of June and will probably prevent me from doing anything with her for a while after that don't want her to feel neglected like Vivienne did (same issues when she arrived) ^^;

June? ..... ... . runs in a dark corner to cry and hopes to die there.

It was the only good thing I was expecting in my life and now they move it 2 months later...

Thankfully I had braced myself for this since I'm in the 2nd wave of pre-orders. I remember asking one of the girls at the store about it and being told that they thought the 1st wave would be maybe June and that the 2nd wave was... well she had no clue haha ^^;;;

 

But at least all of you in the 1st wave now have a definite date for when your Sabers will arrive so that's something to be happy about I can't wait to see the pictures from all of you *o*

 

I really thought I would see way more pictures of Saber Extra & Saber Alter from those who purchased through International, but haven't seen too many (at least not in the DD Flickr Group). Might have to go hunting for pictures hehe~

Our split is probably in 2nd wave. Well, okay. Have to save for a body anyway.

I'm hoping that maybe the 2nd wave will arrive in August/September. My husband jokes that if Saber arrives in September that Saber's birthday will be more important than his haha!

Ah well. Even tho it hurts to hear this, at least my guesstimate of June was correct. Now that we have confirmation of Volks getting the Sabers in June, I'm betting they won't ship out from there until mid to late June.

 

So that adds another 2 months and change to the wait. This is the longest I've ever had to wait when ordering ANYTHING. I know it sucks to continue waiting but I really am looking forward to getting Extra home. I already have 3-4 stories ready to go involving her.

I'm terrible and I haven't really thought about the two Sabers in a while I honestly don't mind, what's another two months? I'm used to waiting when it comes to this sort of thing. I've been waiting 4 years for Diablo III since it's official release announcement. XD

Ah, yeah, I think your stories are one of the main reasons I'm looking forward to the first wave US shipments, since I didn't order anyone myself. Still, on the bright side this gives you extra time to do the stories setting up her introduction!

You flatter me! I'm happy you're interested in seeing my intro and subsequent stories with Saber. But since you have a bit of insight to a couple of them, I can see why you're wanting to see them.

 

I'll do my best on setting up her arrival but it's going to have to be subtle. I don't want to give away the big reveal on her appearance at my place. I think THAT will be the clincher of her intro story.

 

Come on JUNE!!

Updated status regarding the first run is posted on VolksUSA website: First run is expected around June. Was hoping for the end of April but oh well.

 

 

Oh well it's almost May & then it'll be June in no time. The only thing that irks me is that they already have your money while you wait months for product. Wish it would be like reputable shops here in the US where you pay when your item is shipped.

Nice!! Another Diablo player I actually got an invite from Blizzard to partake in the Beta testing of the D3 and to play the upcoming WoW expansion. I think it may be from getting the Annual pass from them.

I see! Perhaps it was just random that they invited me to play the D3 beta. I got to download both clients tonight. Hopefully D3 is good since they've taken so long to make it. Is it true that D3 is gonna be a pay service just like WoW?

Ok, let me get this right. Volks says that any Saber orders before the number 24440 will be in the first wave and any after that will be in the second wave? Kumi said his order number was 24577 and I just checked mine and it's 24232. Does this mean that between my order and Kumi's order, there were 345 OTHER orders for Saber? Or are the order numbers mixed in with other Volks orders not concerning the Sabers? Because if these order numbers are in sequence and Saber related only, that is one HUGE amount of Sabers being shipped and made!

 

Anyone have any ideas on this numbering system? I'm thinking these order numbers are just inline with any other day to day orders as well so there are way less Saber orders overall than the order numbers may suggest.

I have order number 24551.

I think you're right, Billy. My Saber is order #24214, and about a week later, I places order # 24465, for the new Moe and Natsuki wigs.

I am just disappointed because my order is so close to the cutoff and there is a possibility not all of those between 40 and 45 are all Saber orders. Their order system uses same number sequence for anything. So my order could be just right outside the cutoff >_< Also stings more because I was helping overseas friends get Sabers, and if I had placed my personal order first it would have been within that window for sure.

 

I also paid my order in full up front in September. And from looks of it probably be August - September before I see my order. So Volks would have had my money for a whole year while I sit and wait. Oh well...nothing I can do about it but wait....

My order numbers were 24517 and 24532 they were ordered between a day of each other.

Ahh, okay. It seems that Volks numbering system *is* for all their orders and not just for Sabers. That's good.

 

I feel bad for you Ultimaknight, especially knowing you waited til later to make your order after other peoples.

It seems I got my order in just in time. I ordered both Sabers in order # 24430. I placed my order at about 10am on Sep. 28th.

 

I hope there isn't much time between all the deliveries, I think we have all waited long enough!

I was worried about this too, but the Sumika Times blog post explained it.

 

-If you pre-ordered with the down payment option, please refer to the order number of your initial pre-order which you placed last Autumn (not the order number of the final payment.)
