Volks x Type Moon Preorder Project!

Volks clearly didn't expect such a large number of orders, so at the time of ordering, they probably never thought it would take so long to ship everything out from the California facility. I bet they truly thought it would only be one shipment way back in September, when orders opened. I don't know how they could have told you at the time of your order, when they probably didn't even know themselves.

 

That said, they certainly could have IMPROVED their communication after orders were placed and said as much later, maybe with an apology. But VolksUSA communication about pre-orders is generally terrible, so I'm not surprised.

As an update from the UPS guy and the UPS call center, they will NOT leave Saber at my place without a signature. The reason is because Volks, as the shipper, has mandated that ALL Sabers need a signature in person so that items are not lost or stolen or mishandled. This was issued by Volks and not UPS. So this is why Kymaera and I couldn't find the option for the packages to be released from the signature option online.

 

Thankfully, I have the most awesome parents on the planet and they have agreed to tag team waiting for Saber for me on Tuesday next week. The lady at the call center promised me a time window from 10am to 2pm for the delivery since I explained I couldn't be there due to work and that the nearest pickup center to me was almost an hours drive away. She was very helpful and nice I was happy with how things went even tho I couldn't have Saber left on my porch.

 

So Dad will wait from 10-12 and Mom will wait from 12-2 if need be on next Tuesday for me. I guess now I have to take them out to dinner or wash their cars in exchange.

LOL!!! You *can't* be serious! All that would happen is that they would get distracted again and *I* would have to wash the car and truck anyways! But maybe the girls could distract my parents long enuff with their antics so they wouldn't notice the vehicles didn't get washed very well....

We are sorry for the delays and we thank you once again for your continued patience.

 

As of today, June 7th, all of the 1st run fully paid pre-orders have been shipped.

 

1st run down-payment pre-orders are still being processed, but we hope to begin shipping them out very soon as well.

 

We are still waiting for the 2nd run orders to be sent to us, so please keep your eyes here for more updates.

My Saber Alter has arrived! Sorry for the delay, she came at 10AM and it's now 2PM. I spent 10AM-12AM sleeping... I was up, being too excited. Then at 12PM, I was setting her up and taking care of the photos.

Yay! I was wondering about 1st run down payment orders...now I know!!!! Yay! Can't wait for my girls to arrive!!!!

Congrats on your Sabers everyone, I'm glad the down payment orders will ship soon too. Hopefully, I'll be able to hold my Alter in the very near future.

I just got the phone call from my Mom at 10:18 this morning that my Saber has indeed arrived! She was only at my house for 30 minutes when UPS showed up. I feel really relieved that she didn't have to wait around until 2pm for them to show.

 

So now, once I leave work this afternoon, I can shoot straight home and unbox her. I'll make sure to check her for any damage and then if all is well, I'll get her dressed up and take some box opening pics to share.

Winter is coming.

My Sabers arrived today!!!! They are gorgoeus!!! No box opening pictures because it is stormy and pitch dark here in Miami. I will do regular pics this weekend if the weather permits!!!!
