My Sabers arrived today!!!! They are gorgoeus!!! No box opening pictures because it is stormy and pitch dark here in Miami. I will do regular pics this weekend if the weather permits!!!!

Just got my Saber Alter Friday too & had a few questions about how her clothes go together & her wig. I think I have the hoses on right but should they clip to the inside or out of the garter belt? The inside doesn't seem right since it creates a bulge against her waist but on the outside the strap is twisted. Also how do you handle her in a sitting position with them on because the clips doesn't seem to hold up against the stretching & I'm worried they'll become loose too like with Alna.

 

As to her dress where is the little hook in the back suppose to hook into? The inside or outside?

 

Should her wig cap go right against her skull or is a gap there normal?

 

Btw be careful with what looks like loose threads... I tried to clear one away & created a tiny 2cm long run instead in the front waist area.

That fancy underwear of Alter 2 looks like a real stain monster. Knowing me, I won't use her black panties and will just put white panties on her. It's not like it matters. Her default dress is long, so unless you take panty shots, no one would know that she's not wearing fancy stuff.

Pretty much her whole dress is a potential "stain monster". Only the straps on her bust are lined with a light color cloth & her waist protected somewhat by the white mesh petticoat.

I've had Alter's underwear on her since the day I've gotten her (roughly two weeks now), and it hasn't stained yet. Of course, now I've jinxed it and when I get home from work, I'll see some horrible stain.

 

*EDIT* Just got home and checked, she's stained on her hip where the stitching of the panties was. It only got one side though. I'm calling it a tattoo that Alter, even with her shyness, was bold enough to get.

I took no chances and put full "turtleneck" style bodystockings onto both of them to protect them from their dresses. The downside of this is that for her black dress the straps that go around her neck don't fit with the bodystocking on >__<" So in the meantime I have Alter in a pretty outfit I bought in Japan.

 

Overall, (considering the wait time) I'm rather unimpressed with the outfits and swords. I think Saber Lily was much better thought out.

 

I checked my dolls for cracks in the shoulders and they seem to be fine. I also noticed that these bodies don't creak like Yukino v.2 and Moe v.2 do! LOL

Imho they still are treating the DDs as bigger and more expensive figures. You put the outfit on and put it on display.

Even when the outfit/wig stains, it's still under the same outfit/wig so it's not visible and no one should care.

Well, you know, they could just "go commando". Until I got my order from Coolcat yesterday, one of my dolls has been going without underwear because I didn't have enough for all of my dolls. Even now I've been too lazy to put them on yet. And, yes, she's wearing a short skirt.

I do this! Marisa's stock "underwear" are these really poofy bloomers, so when I switched her from the default she had no panties and still doesn't since I always forget to order some.

I didn't want Saber Alter's default outfit becasue of staining potential, but I just love her training/gym set. I ordered it but I'm afraid it'll stain horribly too. Has anyone tried it out on any of their DDs yet?

I had it on her for a few hours, with no staining from the collar or sleeves. I put a legless body suit under the bloomers, and a second white pair of socks under the black ones.
