Volks x Type Moon Preorder Project!

That's how I feel about my Saber Alter, lol.

 

Otakudepot and I are going to start a Saber Support group soon so I'll make sure to let you know when we get it going.

 

Yeah, staying true to their characters is one of the reasons why limited DDs are so popular. I think she is a stunning choice, Billy. I look forward to joining you in the ranks of the "waiting". April is really effing far away.

I opened a split order group to get a Saber Alter.

 

We need a US customer that can get the doll at his home and open her to ship the various items (obviously, the shipping will be paid by the splitters!).

I'd love to have the Saber that comes with the black dress.

 

I'd be able to pay her off by the time she's supposed to be paid for...but just in case something would happen I shouldn't.

 

She's quite beautiful though, I really look forward to seeing her in April.

Wow I feel like the only crazy person not taking part in this pre-order. o.O But I am feeling pretty torn on which to go for if I did order.

 

Both versions I think turned out gorgeous. But really any version Saber takes on in DD form is gorgeous. I love Saber Extra's outfit. That red dress is absolutely stunning. I also love Saber Alter, I love WS dollfie dreams, her face sculpt is beautiful, and that new black dress is amazing.

 

I just don't know if I should invest in another DD so soon after getting Rina. I have such limited space to work with that if I do get another girl I would have to absolutely have to have her. It does seem though that Saber Alter is calling to me though.

 

Gahhh I don't know if I should or shouldn't. At least I have until October 30th to make up my mind. Too bad I don't know for sure what dollfie dreams, if any, are going to be released at DP26. If I had an idea and if it was none I wanted I would for sure go ahead and get Saber Alter.

 

But I'm also trying to hold out and see if Volks will release a certain girl that I want desperately to become a DD. *fingers crossed* Come on Volks give momma a Sen-Hime DD.

That's a good question, I have no idea but hopefully someone will tell us.

I guess it would be squishy headcaps since it's the upgraded one ever since Neris and Airy were out ^^' correct me if I'm wrong.

I like the alternative eyes much better. Oh man, this is making me want Extra too.

I liked the alternative eyes better. But I would like a little more blue.

But surely custom eyes can help me achieve that look.

I though they were the same at first because the lighting was so yellow. It's not that big of a difference. I wish they would show it with white light instead of the incandescent yellow.

Oh how nice to see better pics of both pairs! And what a helpful comparison there. She looks a little bit "cuter" with the blue pupil ones, probably 'cause the pupils seem a bit bigger and they have an overall darker appearance for a more doe-eyed look.

Due to the massive interest in this pre-order project, production for Saber will possibly take more than one run. As a result, there will be two shipment periods for her delivery to you.

 

All orders that have already been received by Volks USA since the start of the pre-ordering period until earlier today will still be expected to ship within our originally stated schedule, which would be approximately April 2012.

 

All orders received by Volks USA from now until the end of the pre-ordering period will be scheduled for shipping around June 2012. We will continue to keep our customers updated should any more changes arise.

 

Please note that while specifications for the TYPE-MOON x DD items will be the same for both first and second production runs, there may be some slight variances in batch such as materials used, etc.

Whew, looks like I got my order in just in time. It's already going to be a long wait, adding a few more months to it will make it even tougher.

Awww, I was trying to figure out my doll plans for the next few months before deciding to pay in full or deposit. I figured there was no rush and was going to order this weekend, now I wish I'd just gone ahead and ordered.

 

Oh well, maybe she will get here for my mid-June birthday. I think I may pay in full just so I can put her out of my mind completely, lol.

 

Guess it is better than selling them via lottery, at least! Will be interesting to see if there are any "slight variances" between order runs.

I am sure glad that I placed the order earlier today. One day later and I'll be forced to wait yet two more months. There sure is a lot of orders for Sabers...

didn't expect that to happen. So I'll be getting Extra among from the first run of Volks international, but I'll have to wait even more for Alter >_o' from VolksUsa. I think I'm fine with that XD' I just hope I won't be away from home that time.

Unfortunately, I still hadn't made up my mind completely on ordering her, and now this makes me not want to.
