Shoehorn for dolls?

Sometimes I find myself buying shoes that are....rather annoying to put on. It's not that they don't fit, it's just that they need some pushing and squeezing before they are on. And every time I have to go through this trial I think "This would have been so much easier if I could use something as a shoehorn"

 

So....any suggestions? Do you guys have something to recommend?

Fully metal teespoon handle comes to mind... though didnt when I had similar issues putting on pumps last time..

 

(edit), though a quick tryout with the few I had, might require some thinning of the handle perhaps..
