I found this little rocking horse at a Goodwill store a few weeks ago and it was priced at $4. Then I noticed the date marking on it that Goodwill uses and saw that it was on sale for half price. $2 for this thing was way too good to pass up so I snagged it. Looks like I did good because the little ones seem to love it.... especially Bud.

Kino just stole my heart in this photo story of yours, baldylox. When she said that she was doing it, it almost made me have the feeling like I was gonna cry~ In a sweet not sad way of course. But still. D'awwwwh~ she's adorable. ^^

Great story and I'm glad Bud has Kiririn by her side almost all the time. She's a good protagonist against her and they fit well together. So adorable in my opinion. :3

Op shop/Goodwill store finds are the best! The rocking horse is a fantastic prop, looks like your girls are getting their money's worth Billy Kino looks too cute leaning against Hitomi in that second shot, a real sweet candid pic of two friends discovering something new! And Bud seems to have a real bond with Bucky...maybe dressage lessons soon??

Thank you! Those two go together like peas in a pod for sure. Bud's a good girl but her rough exterior takes some getting used to. Kiririn is used to it tho so having her as a buffer helps a lot.

Thank you! I totally agree, thrift shop finds are so much fun! The MDD girls just can't get enuff of that little horse. Hitomi is good at making friends with just about anyone so getting her to drag Kino out there was easy enuff. But since Kino is kind of skittish when Minako isn't around, it was nice seeing her actually going with Hitomi to have some fun. And while I doubt I'll be getting Bud any horse riding lessons in dressage, she might go for hunter/jumper after I explain I used to do that in shows when I was young. Altho I doubt she'd enjoy me trying to teach her anything, the subject might interest her enuff to put up with me for a bit longer than normal.

Hee hee, thanks! You DO need more MDD's in the family! They don't eat nearly as much as the bigger girls do so think of it as actually SAVING money! LOL

I didn't realize I had been gone so long. The rocking horse is great. Nice to see Hitomi and the others as well.

 

The BONK had me in stitches and Bud not willing to give up her horse and coaching Kino was so cute! As was seeing Kino ride it. Haha, and you already know how I feel about Kiririn so no need to mention it again. KIRIRIN! Your MDD's are just too freaking cute.

Bud just gets in the zone and will NOT give up whatever she's enjoying at the time. And of course Kiririn keeps Bud in line in her own special way.

Bud's 'no sharing' type logic had me cracking up because it sounds very much like something Tama would say. As always, it's wonderful seeing your girls being so happy. Unfortunately I am woefully out of date on many of your newer girls. I'll try to remedy that in the future by paying more attention.
