What are your DD plans for 2015?

Soo…it's april and maybe i should state what my DD plans are for this year..

 

I think that the order should be :

 

-first priority (hoping to save enough money) is to buy a body for my Primrose (Alna white)

-second priority to sew outfits for my 3 girls (i need to have a body for Alna to sew something for her since probably will be a bust L DDIII or DDy)

- third priority (with equal importance) is to buy a sws 06 head , sharing Alna's body, to create my own Hyperdimensional Neptunia Purple heart in battlesuit /buy new heads to paint and mod, at least a 01 , a 07 and maybe 09

Lets see, my plans, should I get them off the ground:

 

1. LEARN to SEW. Those clothes in YJA can be one hell of a bid war and many casualities on the wallet side. Maybe if I keep trying, take classes (should there be any), maybe I can sew something that Kihona would like.

 

2. Buy or Construct a dresser of somesort for my Dollfie clothes. Sure would be nice to have a place to put these.... >> I swear, I think my ladies have more clothes than me.

 

3. Put together a Phantasy Star DD character. I've been playing the classic Phantasy Star games again and the nostalgia is killing me. Alys, why did you die!? ;.;

2. Buy or Construct a dresser of somesort for my Dollfie clothes. Sure would be nice to have a place to put these.... >> I swear, I think my ladies have more clothes than me.

 

My BJDs have their own dresser - an antique one that I've had for 20 years. And they have a closet. I just need more doll size hangers. hehe

-Try and get hold of Miku while in Tokyo this May

-Experience Dollpa for the first time. Ideally getting one of the two new lovely girls, but I'll be just as happy to see a real-life dollfie event ^_^

-Try and make some DDDY clothes myself

-Work on an original character dollfie ^^;

I've had a slight change of plans.

I'm still saving for Snow Miku, and I'm super excited for her! However, I decided I needed some experience with DD before I went ahead and started cold turkey, so I purchased a DDH-01 in semi-white to get me going. My big goal for 2015 is set aside enough money to pay for Snow Miku and finish my custom Kuniyo.

I got my first girls about a month ago, although only one of them has a body for now. My plan for this year is to buy a body for my semi-white girl as well. :3 ♥ She's more of a challenge as I want her to have the L shapely bust, and it seems that Volks never has the right bust in stock at the same time with the body, ahah... ^^; And I haven't seen that many semi-white parts on Y!J nor Mandarake...

 

They also need their "default" wigs (I have a couple of candidates incoming, but we'll see if they work) and I'm hunting down the perfect pair of eyes.

 

After my twins are complete, I'll have to see if I'll look for one of the character dolls that I like (Sheryl Nome is on the top of my list, somehow I completely missed her and Ranka's release ;__; only found out about it after the orders were closed) or... get a MDD. >.>;; Originally I thought that I would just get a couple of DDs and maybe a DDS girl (Kuonji Alice is soo pretty♥) but somehow the idea of a sugary sweet little sister in the form of a MDD has started appealing to me. I blame it on browsing the blogs of Japanese DD customisers, haha~

I finally am going to get my girl, DDS Mayu!

 

Or at least I hope so...

I've just recently gotten my first full DD, but I also have one extra head and another on the way. I'm looking to at least get a body for my DDH-07 this year. And I'm on the lookout for a girl that could fit a character of mine, be it a new or an old release.

 

My DDH-09 also needs more option hands as soon as I can afford them. I made the mistake of ordering several for my 07 head, because I thought I'd get her body first. So my plans for 2015 are quite modest: one body, several hands and also nice eyes for both my girls and I'll be happy (for a while).

→ New Wigs for Melon & Seraphina

→ Added Rhea (Sasara) to my doll family along with helping my friend get her Sasara, Theia, who was Rhea's sister in Greek Mythology

 

ONGOING

The wonderful thing about these dolls is there will always be something ongoing for them Currently my big project of the year is continuing work on my 9th girl, Yuni. Since she's still a WIP I haven't revealed her yet which is surprising since I never keep a new girl secret for long As of right now she has her eyes, horns, & wings. Her wig is going to be made by Amara77 which is so exciting since it'll be my 1st alpaca wig~ Once that's done I'll be able to finally show her off to everyone I'll have to pick out a nice debut outfit too.

 

For other things I've been up to I've just been getting more clothes/shoes/etc for them as always. I would really like to get all 9 of my girls swimsuits for the summer. Can't wait to make a nice large order with Cool Cat to get all these swimsuits haha. As for wigs I am getting yet another wig for Seraphina from the Lullaby Poem GO that Cauldy is running. And I ended up ordering Maki another wig that will hopefully ship out in another couple weeks. Once Maki gets that wig I'm hoping she'll look even more like Nishikino Maki from Love Live

 

I'm still waiting to see if Volks will announce Mariko as the winner of the After School Akihabara Girls Poll Still so in love with this girl and hoping this happens! Though I would love it even more if she could come out in NS Though of course while waiting for that to happen I have seen another girl that I think is really adorable... Ahhhh I am so weak when it comes to cute girls So we'll see what happens.

 

Already 4 months into 2015 and I look forward to seeing what happens as I continue to move forward!

Ahhhh this sounds like me!! I almost bought her just a little while ago. She's so cute I can't resist. ;0; I also have yet to purchase my first DD.

 

My plan is to buy my first DD this year...whether it's Mayu or not depends on whether or not another head changes my plans~~

2015 plans:

1.Project Erza -

to get DD07 head

find someone who can face it up

buy DDIII normal skin M\L bust

to get a red wig and make Erza hair style

and to find someone who can make for me her clothes

(the red pants outfit)

2. getting my hands on Original saber

(head + eyes + wig) i guess i wont have the budget for the full doll xD

3. hands on Rin head + wig + eyes

4. getting Rin outfit with the coat

Other than Aislinn, my DDdy Miko helping on working on a lot of my sewing and textile creations this year and planning on getting a body for Ainslee, my custom DDH-08 head, I'm saving to tick off the following from my DD list (so that I can stop pining over them every time I see someone put them up for sale):-

 

DD Limited Saber Alter Version 2 (hoping to get her before the end of August / early September both in time for my birthday & for when my pre-ordered Azone Lilia Black Raven V The Stardust Nightmare should be arriving as I think they would look brilliant together)

Welp. As of posting this I bought 6 new girls (counting Snow Miku). Annd 3 were expensive limiteds....(not counting Snow Miku) Kotone got a massive overhaul and I'm finally happy with my mdd so I guess I'll save for a bit so I can get a custom modded mdd and a body for my floating head....and more mdd clothes.....and then more dd clothes cuz my favorite shops keep releasing new stuff...

For the first half of the year I had no doll plans, I was in the process of buying a house, then moving in, then spending lots of money getting it into a livable condition so dolls were so far off my radar it was unthinkable.

 

I have recently started getting back into my dolls, I have unpacked them all from the boxes they moved in. I have brought a new outfit with another on the way and I have brought a new doll head. So my plans for the second half of 2015 are as follows:

 

*Not necessarily in order of completion*

 

* complete new doll (head and wig sorted, not sure what body to put her on yet, will try her on multiple once she gets home, then decide on her style once I meet her)

*Get school uniforms for my other dolls (I'm on a bit of a school uniform kick. Melty and Mai already have theirs, need some for the others)

*Buy lots of doll shoes (currently only 2 out of 5 girls have shoes. Oops)

Well, it's decided I'll get two girls, one I'm in the process of buying from someone along with clothes and things they're also selling, and the other I'm buying from Volks at their AX booth. I'm going super early day one so I can get to the vendor hall fast when it opens up.

 

After that and getting any care supplies I'll need for the both of them the focus is going to be clothes, wigs, and maybe trying out different eyes once I muster the courage to mess with those. I want to spoil them before getting any new ones.

I've added another MDD to my project list. So two girls currently in planning/commissioning stages. Waiting on an outfit for my first girl (still >.<) but my others are done now. I'm happy with my progress.

Ahh, I've been away for too long. I sold my DDs last year, but I need them back haha

So my plans are to get a custom DDS, I haven't decided on a head or character yet, I'm still brewing that up. (;

DD Sheryl is my only plan for 2015

 

Well that went out the window quickly!

 

- Upgraded Yoko to a DDdy

- Bought a Nahoha head for her old body

 

New plans:

- Get Nanoha a wig!!

- Try to expand the girl's wardrobe and get some shoes!

My plans/goals for 2015 are:

1. Buy clothes for incoming Miku and Ranka. And Saber Alter and Sasara if I am lucky enough to win them.

2. Don't buy any new dolls other than said lottery dolls listed above.

3. ...unless a Sakura Kinomoto MDD/DDS happens to pop up this year, then I'm going for her.

4. Pay off Ranka later this year when I get the invoice.

5. Find somewhere cat-proof to put all of my dolls. They live on a bookshelf at the moment, but that's only big enough for two of them.

 

So what are your plans for 2015? Will you be adding new members to your doll family? Getting your first doll? Buying more clothes for them?

1. First part = completed! Second part - I never win lotteries. But going for Alisa now.

2. Completely failed at that. Welcomed home an Erica Fontaine, Miu Amaha (needs a body), Saber Extra, and DDH-09 girl. Saber Extra can kind of count as Saber Alter? Also pre-ordered Snow Miku.

3. Still safe from this since none has been announced.

4. Saving up for this.

5. Completed, but now I'm running out of room up there for everyone. orz I have actual sofas for them to sit on now too. Well...only for five of them.

2.) Buy everyone wigs (wigs are so hard for me, I'm so picky OTL)

4.) Sell my 07 head

5.) Buy everyone shoes and sexy outfits

My plans are just to get some clothes for Amber. I should probably just set myself to focus on that, but I may see if I can snag a Ranka Lee when she's released at the end of the year.

Winning an Arisa in the upcoming hobby would be nice, and then scratch building/or commissioning if time doesn't permit (kid incoming!) a properly sized blade for her. The DD one is woefully short

I think right now, I'd just like to buy my Miku a doll stand. I quite like her default outfit, and as much as I'd love her Senbonzakura outfit, I think I can save the $200 for something else. A doll stand would be a huge help in posing her, though!
