Hi everyone!

 

My name is Sydia/Sydia Yuki kinda everywhere online, and i'm opening this thread to take commissions on DD face ups .

 

In real life i'm a wannabe illustrator and seamstress and i've studied , graduated and practiced drawing , painting and illustrating for almost all my life so i'm pretty used to paint with watercolours ,acrylics and pencils, but i'm kinda new in the bjd and DD world.

I had the occasion to practice painting my girls (three 06 with 1 modded ,a 05 with mods, and an Alna ) and some of the Pharaviel's girls on commisson and then i took the step to open this faceup lab/shop to paint people's girls

 

Info & Conditions:

 

• I'm located in Italy, so keep this in mind when asking for shipping fees from you to me and from me to you

• I'm willing to work both on standards & limited dolls

• I'm willing (and i like to) to have examples and references on the style, particulars (lashes, lips, etc) , kind of girl, etc you would like me to paint , if you want me to work without references at least some infos about the girl would be awesome, without references or infos i will follow my style and taste about faceups (examples are my 3 dolls Lilac, Primrose and Iris and others in this topic) .

• I will create a digital/traditional (depends on time) mock up of the face up, once approved i will start from that on sketching the faceup on the head, there will be at least 4 confirmal stages during the process, mock up approval, sketch on the doll approval, half painted (usually eyelashes and eyebrows) approval before starting lips and blushing, last approval before gloss and sealant. Obviously there will be work in progress photos of the process

• Wigs and eyes of the doll are welcome

• Usually , obviously depending on weather since very low temperatures in winter can block me to spray the MSC and fast reply of the client, i can finish a face up in 7-14 days (often less time, sometimes 1-2 days, but having other works on commission i prefer to give a wider span of time)

 

 

Prices & Services:

 

• Faceup without mods on 1/3-1/4 anime heads: 45 USD/ 40 EURO

 

• Faceup for Obitsu/Parabox/Volks- like1/6 to 1/12 anime heads with eyeholes and no mods : 25 -20 USD/ 20-15 EURO

 

• Faceup for Obitsu/Parabox/Volks/ Azone- like1/6 to 1/12 anime heads WITHOUT EYEHOLES : 30 USD/ 25 EURO

 

Additional services (prices refers mainly to 1/3-1/4 size heads, PM for a precise quote)

 

• Cleaning/removing previous faceup: 10 USD/ 9 EURO

• Simple bust blushing : 10 USD/ 9 EURO

• Freckled bust + bust blushing : 23 USD/ 20 EURO NEW!Scroll down or turn to page 2 to see examples

• Fake eyelashes service: FREE if you supply them 5 USD/ 4 EURO if i have to buy them

• Manicure/pedicure : 8 USD / 7 EURO

• Mods (mouth mods, sanding, etc): starting from 12 USD / 10 EUR, message me for a quote

• Tattoos: starting from 12 USD / 10 EUR, contact me for a quote

(depends on complexity and size)

 

 

Materials and tools:

 

• MSC sealant UV CUT

• Fine arts Acrylic paints (Maimeri italian brand)

• High quality pastels for blushing

• Faber Castell & Caran d'ache watercolour pencils

• Tamiya x-22 Gloss

• Magic sponge

• Exacto knife

• Brushes from 10/0 to 00 & 1 windsor & Newton 7 series for painting, 2 to 4 and more for blushing

 

 

Shipping & Packaging:

 

The costs of shipping from client to me and from me to client has to be covered by client.

If you're outside Europe packages needs to be marked as gift and with value no higher than 30 EURO (including shipping, so best to stay low) , for not incurring in customs, if you still want to insure the package eventual custom fees will have to be paid by you.

I will pack the heads and eventual other goods (if you send eyes and wig with the head for example, or hands or busts) in the same package they will arrive to me, if not possible because the pack arrives heavy damaged on the outside or similar not ensuring the safety of the goods inside i will inform you about the possibility of the new packaging costs (no one wants to have a piece missing because of a damaged pack !) .
