Now, apparently there is a zoo there where you can view some animals. So we left the cannons and colonial fare and visited the zoo. I wasn't too keen on all the chain link fences getting in the way so I only have a few from here. There was a bear, a bobcat, a cougar, a skunk, some Turkeys, Deer and Buffalo (who unfortunately all stayed too far away or wouldn't show us anything but their buffalo butts ) that I couldn't get spiffy pictures of

I wanted to make sure I got a picture of this guy. He's a pretty young pelican. Either that or they give him baths. Older pelicans aren't as white up top they tend to get more grayed heads as they get older.

I really like that first photo and the pics of Latte looking through the otter exhibit with those prism colors...and the scary otter out of nowhere

 

Also, I don't think I've ever mentioned it before but I love latte's skin tone; just gorgeous. I would love to get a darker skin-toned Dollfie.
