Nakitaninja Posted September 20, 2011 I believe the discovery of this set goes to Plastic Fantastic- I can't take credit for finding it but I think it was a totally awesome get! At USD$14 you get tea for two complete with cloth napkins. ^^ The tray is a little big but the scale isn't horrible and I think Nana looks extra strong and ready for any kind of crazy tea mayhem that is throw in her path. No the best lighting or background, I know. I wanted to take these to get some scale and to empower y'all to go pick this sweet little set up! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4152373 NanaTea1 by dollflip, on Flickr NanaTea2 by dollflip, on Flickr NanaTea3 by dollflip, on Flickr
Galvatim Posted September 20, 2011 Nana certainly does look prepared for tea mayhem! I've been long considering this set, it's just those words "free shipping with $75 order" that stop me... Mostly cause I could find enough to make a few $75 orders on TRU's website.
MikoAkiko23 Posted September 20, 2011 When I get a my first Dollfie that'll be one of the first things I get besides clothes XDD Check out my Flickr account for pics of my random artwork: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikoakiko23/sets/72157627987461066/ Hopefully I should have pics of a first daughter by next year ^^
Suzuna Posted September 20, 2011 They have store pickup, that should cut the shipping cost a lot! *looks both ways* >> << *adds to cart*
LordNoir Posted September 20, 2011 I have a feeling that I'll be adding this to my list of things to buy in the super-near future. ^^ Hilariously enough, this is a tea set I know I could get some of my boys using as well as my girls. Nakitaninja Posted September 20, 2011 It's actually not a terrible size! In the store I thought it would be way to big! I can always help people out acquiring this if they need it and live somewhere else.

yeahplayer Posted September 26, 2011 That's a really great deal for all of that! $14 is a steal! I'm tempted to go check out Toys R Us, but I'll wait until my gf is free (I don't like buying super girly things when I'm alone). They always ask "oh is this for your sister?" "...uhh yeah...for my sister..." lol
Nakitaninja Posted September 26, 2011 Hahahaha! Yeah, I love buying toys and I still have a twinge of... I dunno what- self consciousness? Despite feeling odd, there's something really satisfying about being able to buy your own toys!!!!! When I was a kid I would have had to save up for everything and do extra chores. T-T Anyhow! Thank you for all the commenting love, everyone! No, the snacks are Iwako Erasers from Japan but you can buy them on eBay, Amazon and maybe even your local asian import store! They're growing in popularity and I think they work pretty well with the tea set! They set is hollow even so if you wanted to use tea or water in it you can! The dishes all open and could actually be used- a nice bonus for people who want to take a lot of pictures~ I do need to take more pictures with her serving her "masters". Poor Nana. It's what makes her character good tho'. She's pretty happy working for Beatrice and Maria as they are also her friends. ^^
Suzuna Posted September 29, 2011 I have some bad news for you guys trying to NOT look at the tea set... the other items from the line mostly fit too. I'll take some pictures once her head gets back.
Galvatim Posted September 30, 2011 I have some bad news for you guys trying to NOT look at the tea set... the other items from the line mostly fit too. I'll take some pictures once her head gets back. I have worse news for those trying to avoid the tea set... It's currently buy one, get one free on Toys R Us' website! It'll be tea time for 4 at my house!
Suzuna Posted September 30, 2011 Yes, all the accessories are buy one, get one. I got the vanity set and the tea set. Since the clothes were too, I bought some... and guess what? They actually fit, even the shoes! Her arms and legs are long for it, but if you don't mind the quarter sleeve look it's cute.
littlebearries Posted October 7, 2011 Ooooh, I want the sweets!! I have the tea set, I haven't even opened it yet though, but looking at your girl ready to serve everyone a tasty treat, I kind of want to! I was amazed at how cheap it was!!
