Science Versus Santa (Lots o Pics)

We just had a meetup for Christmas yesterday here in Ecchizona, and had a special guest:

Santa Yoko!

 

 

Homura: "I can't decide if I should ask for rocket launchers to help me get Madoka, or if I should just cut out the middleman and ask for Madoka directly. Do you do that? Can you get me a person?"

 

Santa Yoko: "Um. . . what? Are you asking what I think you're asking?

 

 

Agatha: "We've been told that if we behave, we will receive gifts from the Clause of the Santa. I don't know about you, but I haven't gotten so much as a wingnut from this person. The tyranny of this false present-promising liar must end!"

 

Miku: "Um, I'm new here; you sure this guy's a liar?"

 

Belldandy: "I've seen her records; I'm not surprised at all she hasn't gotten presents."

 

 

Agatha: "Stop, you duplicitous sneak!"

 

Santa Yoko: "Gesundheit?"

 

 

Homura: "Agatha, what gives? I was in the middle of asking for my present!"

 

 

Agatha: "That's why I'm here! This liar gives no presents. She's just using that as a way to gain followers for her attempt at world conquest!"

 

 

Santa Yoko: "Whoa, wait, what?"

 

 

Homura: "Another wish-granting scam, and I almost fell for it! You should be ashamed."

 

 

Santa Yoko: "Whoa, hold on! I'm not scamming you! I'm a helper, that's all. It's not like I hand out the presents personally."

 

 

Agatha: "A likely story!"

 

Ruri: "Wow, Monkey, they're taking the news of Santa not being real awfully hard."

 

Illya: "O-M-G, so scandalous!"

 

 

Homura: "I'll have you know I don't take well to being lied to."

 

 

Ruri: "I thought coming here for Christmas instead of staying home would mean I'd get to spend it with normal people! What went wrong!?"

 

 

Agatha: "Stop your lies, false gift-giver!"

 

Homura: "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

 

Ruri: "Guys, I'm trying to have a moment of despair. Can't you keep it down?"

 

[sCENE CENSORED DUE TO CHAOS]

 

 

MDDs: "Santa is DEFENDED!"

 

Ruri: "Stop interrupting my self-pity!" *monkeywhack*

 

 

Nanoha: "Oh no. This is a disaster. *sigh* Guess I have to step in."

 

 

Nanoha: "Alright, come on, break it up. Go on, shoo." *poke, tap*

 

Maria: "Whoa, attack candy!"

 

 

Brianna: "I found this next to the couch. What should I do with it?"

 

Nanoha: "Keep it away from these lunatics." *pokes another MDD*

 

Brianna: "Right. Got it."

 

 

Nanoha: "Alright girls, stay with your hands behind your heads until your humans or your older sisters can take you home. They'll come up with punishments for your behavior. Homura, I'll deal with you and Agatha personally."

 

Brianna: ". . . You're pretty good at this."

 

Nanoha: "I've had a a lot of practice, sadly."

 

 

Homura: "The one day I decide not to bring my shield, and I basically get arrested by my roommate. Some Christmas."

 

 

Maria: "Hands behind my head? But they're all sticky from that candy! I don't want it in my hair!"

 

 

Kud: "Worst. Christmas. Ever."

 

 

Illya: "Why? Was last year's scandal better? I heard Agatha got escorted by security that time, too."

 

 

Cirno: "Miss Nanoha? I gotta use the bathroom, and I don't know how I'm gonna wash my hands afterward if my hands are behind my head."

 

 

Ruri: "Protect me from the crazy ladies, Monkey!"

 

 

Agatha: "No, let me go! The Santa creature has to be stopped! Stopped, I tell you!"

 

Nanoha: "Oh, for pity's sake."

 

 

Nanoha: "If you don't stop, Poof and I will have to take ALL your tools from you for at least a month, got it?"

 

Agatha: *incomprehensible, presumably offensive grumbling*

 

 

Rise: "Wow, that was efficient. Think we should try this with the brats at home?"

 

Ranko: "Oh yeah. I've been taking notes."

 

Rise: "Right on."

 

 

Rise: "Though, I think we might need to find an alterative to making the dragon. . .baby-sit."

 

Ranko: "Um. . . yeah, you got a point."

 

 

Nanoha: "Honestly, I can't leave you two alone anywhere! I'd ask if you knew what the spirit of Christmas is about, but at this point I think neither of you even know what the word 'polite' means. Now, are you going to apologize to our host Marq for traumatizing his girls and his guests?"

 

*Grumbles all around*

 

Agatha: "Fine, sorry I tried to strangle Santa."

 

Homura: "Yeah, sure, sorry."

 

Nanoha: "Shining examples of sincerity, you are."

 

 

Nanoha: "Now, the rest of Christmas is going to be normal, got it?"

 

Agatha: "Fine. Merry Christmas."

 

Homura: "Merry whatever, all of you."

Huge thanks to MarqV for hosting another Christmas meet! Once again he provided great sets, and this year he dug out his two big photo lights, which made a lot of these shots possible. He also let me borrow an external flash to test the hot shoe on my new camera, which was in use on that last shot of my crew.

 

. . . and I'm sorry that my girls might be making Santa Yoko quit next year.

Poor Yoko. She was just trying to bring some holiday cheer. I especially like the photos of Ruri hiding her head, when all the kids are doing their attack. and the last photo of your crew.

 

I'm glad your new camera is working well for you and that the additional lighting helped out.

I love all of them! SO cute!

 

But especially love Homura. Homura is best doll.
