The Enigmatic Haru-Haru

Poor Ichiko has been settling into life here rather slowly and with a bit of difficulty. I've been wondering if another girl might be helpful for her. Maybe another girl would be someone to help her relate to in the house, since despite best efforts she still isn't being very open with any of the boys. Then I worry if another girl would be just as terrified as poor Ichiko, something I would hope not to relive again.

 

That was when it hit me. I need a strong girl, someone who wouldn't be so easily flustered or nervous around the guys. I began digging into my usual research ( anime series) for inspiration. It came to me clearly, I need someone like Haruhi Suzumiya, Konata Izumi or Taiga. I then began looking around the internet, only to find an individual looking to sell off her SQ Lab Hibiki head. It came to me all at once, who she would become. I have already gone into discussions regarding securing her head, so with a tad bit of luck, I'll be able to begin on her rather soon.

 

Who is she? She is Haruka Haruno (春野　遙） otherwise known as Haru-Haru. An energetic powerhouse of athletic skill and a fiery rage beneath the surface. However, all of that fiery rage and skill will probably be within a 50cm Obitsu body, making her the shortest 1/3 character in my household, but I don't imagine it would inconvenience her much, aside from possibly being mistaken for a child. With a planned brown wig and the same Volks G type Anzu eyes that Ichiko has, she may end up being a dead ringer for Haruhi Suzumiya or Taiga in appearance. I'll get to work on some design sketches once her head purchase is confirmed. If not an SQ lab Hibiki head, then I will probably end up using a DD option 2 head for her.

Purchase has been confirmed, She will be an SQ Lab Hibiki head. I will begin drawing the design pictures immediately!

I hope she can help Ichiko with all the bad-looking guys who cralws in the night XDD I hope to see some sketches of her soon!

But yes, I have dug through a few images of the Hibiki head, drew a general shape for the features, then found the wig I will use from my box o' dollie stuff, set it on Ichiko and got drawing.

Due to using the G type Anzu eyes, she looks a lot like Haruhi Suzumiya to me, but I suppose that's part of the appeal. The wig's color is more of a light milky brown that was difficult to capture with my markers, so I apologize. I'll have to take a photo of her borrowing Ichiko's body when she comes(will be shipped no later than Friday, so hopefully home soon!) and is styled, since it may be awhile before I can get her a 50cm body.

Her wig needs to be styled a bit, and she's currently on Ichiko's body (and not at all happy about not having a body of her own) but otherwise, I think she came out quite well.

She looks good, but we need a better picture! I love pouty girls (have one of my own).
