This takes place just before Christmas....

M - "Correct. She is my creator and master so I address her as Mistress. She seems to enjoy it so I do so to make her happy."

A - "Is there some sort of difficulty level on this? Can we start out easy?"

 

T - "Nah, there's no switch on it. Just do your best, it's okay if you can't get super far on it. I sucked at this for a while til I got Mamimi and Yoko to show me how to do it."

 

A - "So it can be really hard?"

M - "It depends on what you see as *hard*. Most often this machine can only do 74,839 random patterns during any one game course."

 

A - "What the hell are you talking about?"

M - "I am only saying that in terms of difficulty levels, this machine cannot generate sufficient random patterns to count as a high level of difficulty."

 

A - "You sound like some sort of robot or something with all that."

 

M - "Of course I do, I am an android."

 

A - "Well I guess that explains it...."

A - "I don't know if that's amazing or creepy as hell."

That was awesome with the catapult! It's also hilarious to see the "hints" of Manami that remain in Reiko. It was good to see her again. Is that Aoi a recent addition? She looks great too.

Heh, without seeing the end of the story, I knew people were going to be making some guesses as to what was going on back there with Manami. But that was the point! And it's entirely possible Manami could have been drunk in those pics, she does like to imbibe quite often. ^_^

They just kind of happen sometimes but this one came about when I got that Simon game from Walmart. As soon as I saw it I knew I'd have the girls playing with it at a table. The background gags have been done before in a post I made on FFM years ago. But having Rei and her catapult came about when I saw that catapult at a Ren Fair. I knew she'd love it so I had to incorporate it into a story somehow and this seemed to be a fun way to use it. So I guess I really think up many of my stories when I find props for the girls.

I did introduce her in a couple photo sets I did here but I didn't make a complete "welcome" post for her so that's probably why you don't recall seeing her. I got her a few months ago from a good friend who isn't really into the hobby anymore. She'd been in a closet with some other DD's for about a year and a half so it was nice to finally get her here and out of her box. I'd always expressed interest in his Aoi because she's on a DDdy body and she's the first version which is more Tsun-tsun than the second version Volks released.

Thank you! The catapult really does work and shoots marshmallows over 30 feet! My GF and I have had fun with it and my cat. Good old Reiko, she's a fun girl. I love the fact that almost 80% of the time she's exactly like Rei..... but that other 20% can sneak out and show up at just about ANY time. And usually much to Rei's chagrin.

 

Aoi is a new girl I've had for a few months now. I didn't do a big formal intro for her tho, she showed up in a few of my random photo threads tho. Thanks about her! She's the original version that's more tsundere looking and I think she's perfect on that DDdy body. I've always wanted an original Aoi but I never went after one. I lucked out when a good friend let me adopt his.

I'm glad you liked that and remembered the first time she did it. It was indeed with the Connect Four game with Mamimi and Yoko. I had to find a way to showcase the new Simon game as well as the catapult so this was what I came up with. Seems that it worked.

Yep! Manami can be into anything when she's just wandering around the background. And it's hard to miss the targets Rei was aiming for, they're QUITE large now. LOL And yes, Aoi is a newer girl. She's number 33 and a first version Aoi on a DDdy body. I got her about 3 months ago and had her in a few photo threads here, I just hadn't done a full intro post on her before. I think she'll get along well with my other 02 girls so I think Rei will be happy to have her in The Brigade.

 

And I'm very glad Maiko and Tana got the card! I welcome their hugs and send them more back! Have a wonderful new Years you guys!

Thank you! I knew the Manami bit would confuse people at first but the reveal was worth it or at least it seems it was. That's funny about her asking for divine help on finding snacks! I wonder if she's done that before....

I've read quite a few of your past photo-stories before becoming a member here, your family always comes across as having such strong personalities and life to them. This set definitely has a fun playful spirit to it, I especially enjoyed the overlap of the two stories using the blurred backdrop.

Thank you! Manami is all about going the easy route. But she wasn't having Rei and the others do that FOR her.... Rei and the gang were doing that TO her..... for their own amusement. What better way to break in a new catapult than lobbing marshmallows at your nemesis?
