Hi I'm Nate and I live in Ireland in a house I share with my girlfriend

 

Got into Dollfie Dreams a while back but only started collecting them a year ago. ^^ Me and my gf have been mad about collecting figures for some time and Dollfies always seemed too expensive, but suddenly we took the plunge and kinda scared to look back haha They've cost a lot but they're so beautiful and worth every cent

@aeris- We now have Shana MDD (semi-custom), Yoko DDdy, Al Azif MDD (semi-custom), Mari DD, Snow Miku MDD (custom), Hell Girl LUTS (custom). Will have to take a group pic some time ^^

My hubby and I started out the same way - collecting figures and the we took the plunge into DD's. They are highly addictive, aren't they?

@archangeli- haha yes both figure and dollfie collecting are pretty addictive with most of our money going into them. Alas we both just love them so much, but we're gonna try to start cutting back to save up for a trip to Japan next spring ^^

Saving money is tough when having a hobby as addictive as dollfies are. My solution is to have two bank accounts. Second account is for saving money for trip to Japan. It works ok because the bank transfers fixed amount every month from first account to the second account without me having to do anything. It's slow going but maybe after 5 years I have enough money for the trip....

Sounds like you have a good sized DD family there. I can't wait to see your customer Snow Miku DD!!!! She must be adorable.

 

I also agree that DD's are way too addictive.... I say this after just taking another early withdrawl from my IRA (retirement savings account) to get ready for the upcoming Sabers. This is the 3rd time doing that this year.
