Eustia Posted January 8, 2015 I can't work it out. I assumed MDD hand joints would be the same as DD3/S with the slight wedge to simply slide it on, but it isn't. So does anyone have any good guides of how to put MDD hands on? I can't get it over the "plate" at the back, to fit the hand on snugly. I did a search but couldn't find anything specifically about it.
waha Posted January 8, 2015 I just rotate the hand on, the vinyl on the hand part is usually soft enough to let you do it.

jadepixel Posted January 8, 2015 They can be really difficult T_T It may help to warm the hand parts with a hairdryer to make them more flexible. If you can get the hand part set onto the frame on one side, then you can usually push hard and pop the other side over the lip of the wedge. I've applied a lot of force to them and never (yet) broken anything. jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
waha Posted January 8, 2015 One thing I've noticed with recent MDD hands I've bought is that the vinyl is a lot softer, kinda like how newer heads are made in a softer vinyl too. Makes it a lot easier to put them on too.
