Amara77 Posted January 12, 2015 So for some reason I can no longer right click and save pictures from Yahoo Japan Auctions. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there another way to save the pictures? Any help would be great. Thanks! ^__^ http://amara77.wordpress.com blog and shop Spoke too soon....
sleepywolf Posted January 12, 2015 They probably implemented that to prevent ppl from "stealing" the photos. Try Shift+Right-click. Works in FireFox. [rimg]http://www.dollfiedreams.com/gallery/image.php?album_id=201&image_id=846[/rimg]
Yami Usagi Posted January 12, 2015 I've noticed that too. I print the screen and crop it XD
TheWhiteRabbit Posted January 12, 2015 I can drag and drop the image onto my desktop, you could try that way Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/WhiteRabbit887 Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/whiterabbitdolls?igsh=czQyZzRweG9hZDM2
Poofiemus Posted January 12, 2015 I often save YJA pictures for later inspiration, so in that case I copy-paste them all into a word doc--makes it easy to find them all since they're in one file, lol. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.
Amara77 Posted January 13, 2015 Shift plus right click worked in firefox but not on Google Chrome for anyone else needing help. Saving them in a dobleepent is not a bad idea either, especially if you are price ranging stuff! Thanks everyone! http://amara77.wordpress.com blog and shop Spoke too soon.... waha Posted January 13, 2015 If you're using Google Chrome, dragging the image to the address bar works, it'll view only the image and you can save it normally from there
Yukamina Posted January 13, 2015 Great tips... I usually see if there is a link to the person's blog with pictures. If there isn't, and I really want the picture, I take a screen shot. I'll try some of these other methods My Etsy Shop ~~~ My DeviantArt

Ara Posted March 29, 2015 There are also some add-ons that help greatly with these things. I have two for Firefox, one is Lightshot and the other is Abduction!. Lightshot is good for cropping, you just mark the area you want to screenshot and then you get a few options (save, copy, some editing things etc.). Abduction is awesome when you want to screenshot more than is visible on your screen, for example a whole page. I got it for customs actually, since it's easier to take a screenshot of my Paypal bill that way, but it's also great when you want to save a whole auction's page and they have pictures embed into the text at the bottom. You just right click onto the page and among the usual options you now have a "Save website as image" (or similiar, mine is German) option on the top. Click on it and you can decide how much of the website should be on the screenshot or say straight away you want the whole page. Just make sure to download version 3.0.18 and disable auto-update, the last version does not work properly and 3.0.18 is the last one that works.
Gunter Posted March 29, 2015 I've probably got the funniest way of doing this. All I do is use Puush. I've used it for a long freakin' time cause if you wanna screencap something specific and instantly upload it this is the fastest method. So I just use the select area hotkeys (Ctrl + shift + 4) and choose the image area. Instantly uploads it and I can then save that image in the link. I admit this works for me cause that means I can upload and send anything anywhere whenever I want to, so using this program just for a Y!J picture saver isn't maybe the best. XD Only downside? Puush goes down, this option goes down.
