Second Faceup ♥ DDH-06 (Third faceup added!)

Hi everyone!

 

I've just finished painting my second DD faceup, an 06 NS head for a nice person from another forum as practice. You can see my third faceup at the end of this post (after the 06 head)

 

I definitely think i've improved since my first faceup and I am hoping to paint another DDH-03 and my Makoto some time soon. I'll be focusing on doing even finer, more flowing lines as well as not having many bottom lashes.

 

I would love to hear opinions and suggestions! I'd also like to know if anyone would actually be interested in slots for commissions in the future before I take the plunge and open a shop

You're doing incredibly well for just starting out. I may be interested in getting one from you. Do you have the materials involved to remove existing faceups or do you prefer to start on a blank face? (I have a Yukino 03 I'd like re-done, but also still want an 07, so either way is fine by me...)

Aw thanks Yes I have got the materials to remove faceups and I don't mind starting from blank or cleaning first, so that wouldn't be a problem

Thanks, I'm so glad you like my work Yes the person asked for it to be the same as my first one I just finished doing another DDH-03, it's a slightly different style that I prefer so ill be posting proper pics of her tomorrow but for now here's an instagram snap of her all dressed up ready for her photo shoot

I can second this! If only I knew how I wanted my girl painted... :/

I have been thinking about getting a new faceup for her, but at the same time not... In any case, I will keep an eye out for if you open up commission slots!

You do absolutely wonderful work! I remember seeing the first photos posted elsewhere (I believe by the commissioner) and saving them to my inspiration folder; the soft details give the face such a sweet expression that I fell in love with right away As for the second one featured, what an adorable little pout she has (you just want to hug her) and the heart on her cheek is an extra cute touch
