BeyondTime Posted January 15, 2015 Wolf, and I'm from the USA. I've been collecting anime figurines for close to 20 years, and I discovered Dollfie while searching around for K-On figures. I wasn't too interested in Mio or Yui when I saw them although I'm beginning to have a change of heart about Mio; because well... Mio. What resulted in me getting my first DD however was Kos-Mos from Xenosaga. I have a 13 inch tall figure of her along with one of T-Elos by I think it was Wave, and when I saw the DD Kos-Mos I had to have her. She is really really beautiful. I ended up getting the Volks Missionary High School Winter uniform for her before she arrived, and she wears that instead of her Kos-Mos costume which doesn't really look very comfortable. I worry a bit the head piece might damage her wig if left on for long periods too. The school uniform makes her look like a proper lady too, which is a bit interesting given the symbolism underlying Kos-Mos in the game. Anyways she was my intro the Hobby, and ultimately this forum. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? BeyondTime Posted January 15, 2015 She has a wig cap. Kos-Mos has a helmet of sorts as a part of her default outfit. You can see it on the Volks site here. http://www.volks.co.jp/en/xenosaga3/dd_kosmos.html/ The head piece sort of crimps her hair in parts and it's also really hard to get on without getting hair fibers caught in between pieces when you assemble it on her head. It has a tight plastic belt that holds it in place too. I've put it on her twice and both times after removing it I found loose hair strands. She also looks way prettier without it on. I've been decorating my home with art for years and Kos-Mos is easily one of the most beautiful artistic creations I own. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? I always love Kosmos from Xenosaga. I have many of her figures. I had to play all the games she was in. Like Namco X Capcom, Project X zone, Super Robot wars OG saga. R-Blade!! DragonTooth!
