Chibi Lina Inverse ... tempted... MDD?

I am totally, definitely, not going to do this, because Meade and Chandra have been neglected for too long and I haven't made them the Ayeka and Ryoko cosplays I promised, and because I should finished my current projects before spending more money, and I have papers to write and thesis corrections to finish...

 

But I am really tempted by the idea of making a chibi Lina Inverse using the MDD! I am in two minds about the MDD body, given it's pitfalls, but the new head looks like it could be very versatile. The more I think about it, the more I can picture her on the shelf near my desk, glaring at my DDs for being bustier than she is.

 

Has anyone else considered using the MDD to make a chibi style anime doll? Does anyone have any examples?

I love Lina Inverse, what an adorable dollfie she'd be! ^^ I haven't really seen any MDD's of "chibified" characters (just people putting their DD girls on a MDD body temporarily for fun), but that sounds like something I'd love to see!

 

I had considered making a Lina Inverse DD for awhile, though on the DDS body . . . with the small bust . . . but I bet a chibi-Lina would be brain-meltingly adorable. Of course with the MDD small bust . . .

^^ I full-heartedly approve of this idea. Chibi Lina would just be so cute.

 

I have also thought over the idea of making a Lina Inverse on the obitsu 50cm body small bust of course... to give to my boyfriend since he's a HUGE Lina fan.

I personally think the MDD would be a little childish for her. I mean she is... you know... but her legs and torso are otherwise normal, if short. Hands too. DDS would be awesome as long as you made sure to get the "right" bust. >>

Yeah I'd have to agree, I think that a DDS body would be perfect for Lina MDD is a bit too..short for my tastes as well.

The idea behind using a MDD was to make an Super Deformed type character. So the shortness is actually what I am going for: I am even tempted to combine the MDD with the larger bust option to make an SD Naga... (got to stop thinking of dolly projects that I can't afford, ARGH!). So while I would use a DDS (with the S bust for a realistic Lina, and a DDII L or DDdy for Naga, for adorable chibi SD-ness, I think the MDD could really work

Ahhh well then! If you wanted that super deformed look, MDD is definitely the way to go hahah ;D
