Late Xmas pics Part 2

So here's the rest of the pics I promised!

 

This stuff is mainly for the MDD girls but the regular DD's could probably use some of it too. I just figured it was cuter to have the MDD's playing with this stuff first.

I got the cornhole game from Walmart for $7. It came with the one board and 6 bean bags. It's about the perfect size for the girls.

 

Now it's time for the camping setup! I got this tent and a bunch of other stuff from Target. It's for their 18 inch doll line and cost about $20.

Minako and Bud are finishing up supper I think. The tent set came with all the stuff here except the boxes Bud has by her. The cooler even opens up to put stuff in.

That's so cute I just love all the little accessories and your girls of course! Hopefully Bud got to use the fireworks eventually since I bet she was disappointed she couldn't set them off. A little OT here but the Target Our Generation brand seems to be doing very well and many American Girl doll collectors buy the sets for their dolls because of the quality and price. AG stuff is getting more expensive every year.

Thank you very much! Do you have a Target near you? We have two in the area and between them, we find cool stuff like this all the time. Check them out online if you don't have a store near you, I'm sure these are available there.

Thank you! Bud did get to shoot fireworks later that night.... under CLOSE supervision from me of course. She seemed to have fun tho.

 

A little OT here but the Target Our Generation brand seems to be doing very well and many American Girl doll collectors buy the sets for their dolls because of the quality and price. AG stuff is getting more expensive every year.

 

I can see why the Target brand is doing well, mainly due to the price and amount of stuff you get in those sets and accessory packs. We've recently seen a "Sick at Home" pack that was $17 and it had TONS of stuff in it! Things like a breakfast in bed tray with food, a hot water bottle, eye mask for sleeping, crayons and coloring books and all sorts of other cool things. The sizing is great for DD's and other 1/3 dolls and with the pricing like it is, they make a good deal for what you get.

 

I totally agree that AG stuff is insanely priced. We got their newest catalog and they have a bakery set listed in there for $500! The kicker is that a bunch of the baking supplies and tools like a mixer and bowls and such aren't even included in that playset! You have to buy all that separately! For $500 that damn setup better bake me fresh cookies, muffins and donuts EVERY MORNING without fail.

I hate to admit it but the MDD girls are WAY more spoiled than the other girls. But it's super easy to do it with all the cool sized stuff I keep finding for them! We have a hard time finding the nicer sets at our Traget stores too so it takes some luck finding the nice sets. Keep trying tho!

 

As for the fireworks boxes, those are actually REAL boxes! My sister had a big fireworks kit that had loads of small setups like this in it. She blew up most of the others but these weren't in bad shape like the others were so I snapped them up for the girls to use. I'm glad you like them!

 

American Girl stuff is really nice from what I've seen, but yeah the price is killer! I really want to visit the AG store in LA sometime just to look around. Might not buy anything, but it would be cool to take Tsukiko with me and see what kind of stuff would be just right for her

 

Oh man, we hit the new store in Charlotte NC and it was amazing. It was huge and full of so many awesome things. I was able to grab a lab set for Rei that has a microscope and other neat stuff in it but I've yet to use it in pics. I should really get on that soon. I would love to have other things they have there but money is a problem when it comes to the cooler stuff in an AG store.

 

Tsukiko would have SO MUCH fun in one of those places! You seriously should take her to one and take pics! They let you take pics of whatever you like, I made sure to ask if it was ok and the people there were very nice about it. If you do go, make sure to share pics!
