Hello guys, I did the pre order Miku recently, the site of the Volks Jp, I wanted to know if I have preordained by the right site for me to send to Europe??? Then, the site American wanted an advance of 50$, why the site Jp, do not require advance???

It's alright, the japanese site ships to europe as well! I ordered 2 dollfies and 2 outfits there, and everything went allright. I live in Austria.

I didn't even know Volks USA wants an advance of 50 Dollars, I never had to pay something in advance at Volksjapan. So don't worry. If you'll got an email for prerordering her at Volks japan, then everything should be allright.

Volks USA is usually slower, since the dolls are shipped to them via boat.

 

For regular Miku: there were also a lot of orders which delayed things. Instead of starting to ship the dolls out in October, Volks USA orders were delayed and they didn't start shipping them out until December. Many of us are still waiting to receive our Mikus from them.

 

Having a shipping date of Sept 2016 would give them more time to get the dolls ready to be sent out. After what happened last time, if they had a June 2016 shipping date, it would probably be delayed to Sept 2016 anyway.

I pre-ordered my Miku last night! It's going to be the longest wait for anything ever, but... I have a feeling she will be worth it. Just need to put her out of my mind now, so it doesn't drive me crazy. I'll have to distract myself with sewing XD

I decided not to preorder Snow Miku T_T I just want a second Miku head to repaint...

I decided after alot of going back and forth no to preorder. She is cute but I just don't feel the pull of I MUST HAVE her. So my wallet breathes a sigh of relief.

It's not the shipping price; I believe it's taxes. Volks usually lists this as "fees". You can see what I mean here where the outfits are listed. It has the price with a (with fee) underneath it.

Domestic taxes shouldn't apply to international orders, but Japanese companies running English sites seem to ignore this fact.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. It's the first time I've ever such a thing... And I bought many things from Japan... Bah, more money to spend, Japanese VAT, Italian VAT, shipping, the bambolla, cost me a fortune ...

Maybe you could buy from other sites .... As for normal figures ...

Just put in my pre-order via VolksUSA. It'll be a long wait, but I'm okay with that.

I ordered her this morning. XD I just couldn't resist Miku this time. Also june 2016 is a good time hopefully for me and money.

I ordered Snow Miku too this weekend and grabbed a couple body suits, spare hands and the additional Miku outfit. I'm okay with the wait as I have so much going on this year that she'll be a nice surprise when she does come home!

I was just wondering, what default hands did regular Miku come with? And when it says "Outspread Right Hand（DDII-H-04-SW)" for Snow Miku, does it mean a single right hand, or a pair? Just curious before I decide to order some of the Miku hand re-releases.

The hand parts mean that she comes with two pairs of hands. The nice part about the Miku hand parts is that they come with the wrist piece so you don't have to fumble with a hairdrier trying to get some inconsistently small hand parts to fit over the wrist.
