Nolluska Posted February 2, 2015 Hi everyone! I'm rather new to Dollfie Dream dolls but I have been collecting resin dolls for several years, since 2006. I got my first DD's late last year, and I think it's because I got myself a Volks Chii beginning of that year that things escalated quickly and I got myself two DDH-01's and a Rei from NGE. Chii/DDH-01 head is just so cute and pretty that I couldn't resist myself from getting more of those. So yeah, happy owner of the same sculpt here! But maybe more about me... I'm 27 years old and I'm from Finland, most of my hobbies run around the dolly hobby. Like crafting and painting and such. But hey, it's fun. I have three cats and sometimes I help the local animal shelter with their pregnant cats, as in keeping them safe until giving birth and then taking care of the kittens until they are the right age to adopt away. Minty Posted February 4, 2015 Hello! Welcome to the forums! The DDH-01 is such a versatile sculpt! I don't blame you for owning more than one. It's possible to have an entire collection made up of only DDH-01 heads, what with all of the customs floating around! That's such a wonderful thing to do; looking after all of those pregnant cats and their kittens. Nolluska Posted February 5, 2015 Thanks! I wish I can find the time finish my girls faceups and make some eyes for them. I actually just today received the body for my other DDH-01 head, I got the Hatsune Miku body and I really love the bust she has. She even fits into bulky MSD clothes I desperately tried on her since I had nothing that would actually be a good size... Miracle happened! Kittens are super adorable, when I started this fostering I actually had 11 babies at the same time. It was.. amazing. And they poop a lot. I was actually thinking of modding the other 01 head a bit but now I don't want to. So I guess I'll need more of them. I saw both Rei's at a store while visiting Japan last year and after oogling them I knew I wanted vintage (DDH-02). The skin color and actual appearance isn't as close to Rei as the maid version but I fell in love with the older one. I can always try to hunt down the other one as well, I'd like to collect as many Rei dolls as I can. I already have a Pullip and Blythe Rei's here.
