sweetresin Posted February 3, 2015 ]I'm going to be making my dollfies into Vocaloids, but not just Miku! (That's what snow miku is for...) I have a DDS Mayu, who I'm transforming into Vocaloid Rana. I really think the sculpt fits. And then I have a DDH-08 head coming that I eventually am going to make into Macne Nana. if you have any advice on either of these, let me know. (I don't know why I love her and her design as much as I do, lol) Nana totally needs a Dynamite body, in my opinion--it'll capture the curves she has in the original art, and provide a nice contrast to Miku and Rana. Wigs for either could prove tricky, as they have unusual colors. Wigs 2 Dolls has a ton of colors, including a neon green, and some of the pigtail wigs have a nice part in them, so you could cannibalize one of those into braids fairly easily. Alternately there's CanCan, who does have some vivid colors, and I've heard really excellent quality--but not every style comes in every color. I. . . actually hadn't heard of Rana before now. ^^; Listening now and liking her, though! Her voice is kind of sassy. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser. Miryua has a really nice blonde wig with the perfect shape, and I just have to dye it using the water and ink method. And ranas voice is so cuuute!
