Godzilla44566 Posted February 13, 2015 I notice with some items on Mandarake you can have identical items from separate stores but the price is lower on some listings then others. For a figure that says sealed I would not be of much concern but when it comes to a dollfie I would like to take an extra precaution. Two of these are at 130k yen and three are at 140k. Can anyone spot the reason for the lower price on the other two? I see one says unused and the other only mentions a box scratch as far as I can tell. http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/search.do?action=keyword&doujin=all&keyword=%E6%B8%8B%E8%B0%B7+%E5%87%9B&searchStrategy=keyword
waha Posted February 13, 2015 Different staff at the different stores. I think the final sales price is also affected by how much they paid for the item/etc. Mandarake tends to be honest about any faults/etc. Just like how you can sometimes see them randomly sell an item way below marketprice/etc.
Gunter Posted February 13, 2015 Aha, Waha got this covered. :3 According to one of them (Kokura Store) the box has damage, and items are used. (Via Google translate) The other one (Grandchaos (Osaka Shinsaibashi) Store) says that it is sealed and unused, luckily in English. As you said already. XD So, yeah, good example of just different shop, different price. :P
Yukamina Posted February 13, 2015 I've seen other unopened items selling at different prices at different shops, I'd just go for the cheaper one ^^ My Etsy Shop ~~~ My DeviantArt
