Eye Type? (answered)

Hello. Random and quick question about a picture I've found of a DDH-04/Mayu. I'm seriously thinking about getting a DDS Mayu (since I like her face-up and most likely want her on a DDS M Bust body, so it's a win-win situation). However, I saw a picture of her in the lollipop dress outfit modeling pointing hands buuuut, she had way different eyes in, which I really like the look of on her. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out which ones they are.

My best guess is that they are the D Type of eye in Apricot. My second best guess would be G Type in Apricot. But I'm very unsure.

Please let me know what you guys think! All help is appreciated!

I think it's one of Volks custom painted closed-eye heads, they have a couple really adorable models. Sometimes the Volks Int website will list the doll modeling the outfit on the item listing, so I'd see if you can find it there.

She was in the Dollfie Dream Fanbook 2 along with a DDH-06 also with closed eyes. They are very cute!

Volks just says "Model: DDdy DDH-04" for the older version of the lollipop dress in pink.

I did look on the page of the outfit to see if it did describe the model, etc. It did not say, unfortunately.

And man, they did a great job for her being a closed-eye head. I wish it was different though, haha. Now I'll be on the search for eyes that look like that but in various colors. x3

Thank you for all the helpful info! It saddens me to see that she is closed-eyed. Would have loved to have bought eyes that look like that for my future Mayu (I can't help but stare at other people's Mayus, it's probably time for me to have my own, funds willing that is after I get Liz and Miu their bodies ^^").

Loved the pictures as well! And I agree, they are very cute!

I was trying to recreate the eyes but I don't know if they would look right when printed. They probably can't accurately recreated the painted eye look. I played with a couple of filters.

I don't make eyes and they probably couldn't match up to the eyes that were painted on the original DDH-04 if I would ask Arietta Project to make them from the files you made. But those are a pretty good recreation!

But thank you so much! I will just have to experiment. Which is okay. It's all part of the bonding process.

It took me so long to find Miu's perfect eyes (and it isn't the blue ones that I had in the last pics of her! Haha~). And I still haven't bought Liz any eyes. Ahaha~ But anyway, hope you have a nice day and I really do appreciate all the help! ^^

I thought I'd try real quick to help out.

It's kind of rushed but I thought it might help a bit when trying to re-create the eye, this is sort of how I imagine they look without the pixelation.

Thank you for your help but I do not plan on making my own eyes or having someone make them for me. But I very much appreciate the help!

That's so cool, linainversetsg! I might try making some like that. My friend has been experimenting with making his own eyes.
