SisterKyoya Posted February 27, 2015 Just when I thought I coudn't fall even more in love with a sculpt... my heart is stolen yet again. I was having a hard time bonding with Miss Lottie and I just couldn't figure out what her new faceup should be. Every time I tried to think of what to change it to, I froze up. What I started to realize was that I wanted to send her to Anouc, but at the same time I had been looking forward to doing my own faceup on the Kos-Mos sculpt. Having a temporary lapse in memory, I posted my longing in Anouc's faceup thread. I had forgotten to be careful what you post on the forums because there are always enablers waiting to strike. Mitsuki is starting to be 'The Godmother' to me because she keeps sending me offers that I can't refuse. She literally spammed me with pics of the above head that just happened to be a Kos-Mos sculpt, and just happened to have been given a new faceup by Anouc. There was no way I could have walked away from that, even if I wasn't entirely sure if it would work for Miss Lottie. I never could have guessed that my concerns were so unfounded. Seriously, I can't quit staring at her! a couple of weeks ago it finally dawned on me to see how Miss Lottie would look on a DDdy body. I thought it would never work because none of our girls have ever gone up in body size, and in fact three of them have gone down in bust size from their original. (Oops, I keep forgetting about Miku being an S bust) Even with Miss Lottie's default faceup & getting her hair straightened, just putting her on the DDdy body instantly made her perk up. This was the DD I was wondering if she would ever feel comfortable in her own skin. Shy, timid Miss Lottie suddenly didn't need to hide behind matronly clothes and even began to show off. Up until then she seemed to be afraid of her own shadow! But now with the faceup by Anouc... Miss Lottie has finally found herself. After nearly a year and a half I've finally been able to bond with her. I've fallen for her so hard I'm surprised that I don't hurt. (please forgive me that the head and the body don't match, Dakota's NS body is the only DDdy we have and Miss Lottie is SWS.) Mitsuki- I can't seem to find the words to express how thankful I am that you gave me the chance to discover who Miss Lottie has been trying to be. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Anouc- Even though you didn't know who would end up with this head, I'm extremely pleased and delighted it was me. For quite some time now I've wanted to just see what you could do if you were simply given a sculpt to paint any way you wished, without expectations. I've wanted so badly to see you excel in something you are very talented at. Never could I have imagined that you could have so far exceeded my expectations. You have made Miss Lottie to be as beautiful and stunning as she wanted to be, without me meddling and just getting in the way. How do I even begin to thank you for that? (With 5 faceups by Anouc in our family now, I think I can call myself an Anouc collector. ) ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
mitsuki Posted February 27, 2015 I am so glad Miss Lotte has found herself. She is gorgeous. I am so happy she is in such a great home. Anouc's work is beautiful! haha That was so funny about the "temporary lapse in memory." I couldn't resist reaching out to you. I look forward to seeing more of Miss Lotte. She is very special. Pickle Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) Congratulations on Miss Lottie! I'm so glad she was able to find herself and finally bond with you. It must have been terrible not bonding with her for so long. I'm glad that in the end, everything worked out. She really does look nice on the DDdy body. I hope you'll be able to buy a SWS DDdy body for her someday instead of having to pull photography tricks. But anyway, congrats again and gorgeous girl! Hope she'll also open up to the rest of your DD family now, if she already hasn't! ^w^ Edited March 21, 2019 by Pickle
pharaviel Posted March 1, 2015 Don't you have the original body? You just need a couple of parts to upgrade her to a dynamite.

Each time I see Miss Lottie or even these pics I have to stop for a second and figure out who she is because she stuns me every time. I just can't believe I have a DD so gorgeous. Frankly I didn't think they could be, especially a more realistic sculpt because I didn't like any of them before Kos-Mos. With her current faceup she looks like Alna's little sister. (Because of that it makes me appreciate Alna more than I have before.) Now I know what a guy feels like when he catches a glimpse of a beautiful woman walking down the street. It feels like every time I look at her I'm just struck stupid. I haven't caught myself drooling yet, but its only a matter of time. I have never reacted to any of my female dolls like this and it's kinda disorienting. Congratulations on Miss Lottie! I'm so glad she was able to find herself and finally bond with you. Hope she'll also open up to the rest of your DD family now, if she already hasn't! ^w^ Thank you very much! With her previous faceup she always looked sad no mater what I would do, as if she wanted to be somewhere else/go home. The few times she didn't look depressed, she seemed to be startled/frightened when I walked into the room. After so long I was starting to give up hope, something very uncharacteristic of me. When I finally straightened her wig (as almost a last resort to do something) and got her bangs fixed so I didn't need to use a tiny bobby pin, for the first time she looked happy for more than a moment or two. After that I stuck her on the DDdy and she suddenly started to decide who she was, even when she still had her original faceup. About a month later Mitsuki PMed me. Putting Miss Lottie together for these photos just totally made her blossom. Anouc's faceup just added the last something Miss Lottie needed. Raven was really surprised at the type of photos these were. I really don't do nudes but I told him that I did these because it was what Miss Lottie herself wanted. My favorite of these pics is the last one, all the curves are just beautiful. Don't you have the original body? You just need a couple of parts to upgrade her to a dynamite. Ralph took it. It doesn't match his NS but he's using it for now. For as many bodies as we need it would just be easier to get Miss Lottie a new DDdy body, get Ralph a NS DD body & the SWS DD will go to Lorelai. That way I could get 3 more DD done instead of just Miss Lottie and I'd only be left with 2 floating heads. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
pharaviel Posted March 1, 2015 Have you thought giving him an obitsu male body? I'm not totally fond of the joints but they seems to be very poseable and sturdy (important if you need to hold little sisters XD). Also, I seem to remember it's cheaper. TheWhiteRabbit Posted March 2, 2015 She is a beautiful girl, the lighting excuses the difference in skin tone, I honestly didn't even notice it till you mentioned it, haha. Congrats on your beautiful curvaceous girl! She is lovely! SisterKyoya Posted March 2, 2015 Holding sisters is not an issue: (Ringo, Ralph, Rainie) There is no hidden supports in these pics, just good old fashioned balance. I don't use the Obitsu body for him because it is a height issue. He 'grew' from a MDD, to Obitsu 45cm, skipped over the DDS and then onto the DD simply because he was trying to find the right height. When I have a choice I don't use the Obitsu because frankly the joints are rather ugly. That's the reason why Lucas is a DDS even thought the hips look a bit funny without slightly baggy pants and I would have liked him to be a little shorter. Sure the cost is about half of a DD body, but I'm much more inclined to get the body that's right for the DD instead of what's easy. Strange as it sounds, having Ralph on the DD body IS the less expensive way to go. If he was a DDS like I kinda wanted him to be, than someone else in the household would need to be downgraded from a DD to a DDS. Even when I tell myself that the matter has been settled it may not actually be since we have many DDII bodies that I'd like to get upgraded to DDIII. Dakota, Daisy, Ellie, Yuriko, Tamayuki, & Bree all have ver 2 bodies that need upgrading, and Naiomi & Yuriko need to be migrated from WS bodies to SWS since Volks no longer makes the WS. So this really isn't the end of my body issues. She is a beautiful girl, the lighting excuses the difference in skin tone, I honestly didn't even notice it till you mentioned it, haha. Congrats on your beautiful curvaceous girl! She is lovely! Thank you! I only mentioned the skin tone differences because it was sticking out like a sore thumb to me. After I posted these I happened to see them on my main computer and was more than a little shocked at how yellow they are. I have a new laptop and it was the first time I've ever had to calabrate the color on a computer! Thanks HP... I'm still thrilled that I finally discovered a happy ending for Miss Lottie. Kos-Mos is such a wonderful sculpt I surely didn't want to give it up. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
