Lily's Bunny Outfit (CoolCat! Yes!)

First things first. The bunny suit is from CoolCat. Their website says the pale purple is sold out. There are lots of other colors that are sold out, too. But, they are quite happy to do a custom order for you if you can wait a couple of weeks. Customer service was excellent and all of my emails were answered promptly.

 

I asked them if they wanted me to advertise the custom work or keep it quiet. They said I should tell people about it.

 

Here's a photo of the shipping box. Very well packaged to make sure nothing got crushed in transit. Each of the items in the outfit was individually sealed. I thought the overall presentation was just as good as the packages I have received from Volks.

No zipper on the outfit. Your girl just steps into it. This is stretch fabric and the fit is really tight. But, quality of the sewing is excellent and nothing gave while it was being put on.

 

The outfit comes with fishnet hose. Their hose probably fits better than the pair Lily is wearing in these photos. The elastic waist band on the CoolCat pair seems to be thinner and probably doesn't create the panty line you see here. (That's my fault for making her look not her best.)

I did notice that the white inside of the Volks pumps has become slightly stained by being in contact with the Dollmore fishnets and the Volks bodysuit. (Yep, stains on the inside of the shoes are both black and tan. I'm coming to the conclusion that tight shoes are almost certain to cause staining by any fabrics that are under them. Will try to post photos in a couple of days.)

I don't have a lot of spare DD time in my life. Lily will probably be stuck in this outfit for a couple of weeks, too. That's why she has a full bodysuit on beneath it. I'm sure that the outfit will look better without the bodysuit. I'll remove it if I'm taking any serious photos.

The wig is Alisa's (?) default. Grey looks good on Lily. The purple outfit doesn't really match her eyes. If I was going to do this again, I'd probably go with the pastel green bunny suit.

Anyhow. This was my first experience with CoolCat. Based on one data point, I give them a grade of A+.

personally I think the color combo is rather nice.

 

Now the eye's are brought up by the silver and light purple. with a green outfit they'd more or less blend into that... then again im a sucker for purple, and have a grey haired spinster club thing going on my shelves.
