Lyars upgrade in more detail.

So... the latest acquisition into the household... a Silicon body roughly in the size format of a DDdy.

 

I've been a bit curious of these bodies ever since their introduction with the Arte, apparently now Tokyo doll line of bodies, that were they really worth the extra cost, for that little aesthetics gain.

 

And to be honest, it is quite a specialty item.. I think the japanese would use the tern "maniac"

So the opportunity arrived to acquire a second hand body for a much more reasonable price than new, I thought it was worth a gamble.

 

First impressions are a bit two sided.

First of all, the name seamless is a bit ... peculiar since there is a very obvious seam running from neck to toe from where the mold was but together, and another issue for me personally came about the actual weight and odd construction.

Trying to get this body type to stand on its own two legs is quite a challenge, at least for me after so many years of normal DD posing. Partly the challenge with this body comes about the heel's of the feet, that are a bit wobbly, due to the ankle joint being rather high in the foot, hence the army boots in the first two photos to even get a slight chance of balancing the girl out.

But after the two standing poses, I just had to give up.

 

Then there is the issue of dust..

Even after awhile, Im still coughing over talbleep powder residue, but dust management was semi successful

by keeping the talbleep brush at hand at all times whenever the smallest speck would latch on the body.

But despite the setbacks in how I've traditionally posed my girls...

 

Getting the lights just right in terms of hiding the seam at the sides of the body, and with that added little effort to get the pose done up right... I cant help but feel chuffed at the end results.

And the bonus of this body, is that Speck got Lyar's old body, so all's well with that storyline also.

She has such a pretty face! The body is interesting! I have never seen one before! Great photos!

It photographs very well! I love the blue dress and blonde wig combo. She looks elegant.
