finnleo Posted March 16, 2015 Well a bit late this time, since due to certain reasons its not brilliant being me at the moment, and after struggling yesterday I called it quits early on with this set. But comes sunrise, and a nice golden glowing one at that after months of drizzling clouds decided to give it another shot this morning as I rarely get to play with natural light... hence the odd shutter time fumble, or white balance issue. But still, took two of my older ladies, battle scars and all into a few recently acquired china dresses off YJA and some mediocre posing later had a few shots to display. Minty Posted March 16, 2015 They look so lovely in those dresses. I don't know much about lighting; however, I think the golden glow of the sunrise matches nicely with the gold on their dresses. It sets a nice warm tone. This photo is my favourite of the set. I probably don't know much about posing either, because I think she looks amazing in this one. She looks so natural and relaxed. finnleo Posted March 19, 2015 Thank you all very many. mm, I wont say that the poses are bad in any way, but a bit more on the safe side than what I'd normally try for, trying to see how far I can get without any outside supports. But occasionally simple works also. as far as the light goes, im a bit more annoyed about how uneven the set is in terms of exposure, but thats what I get for starting photographing while the sun was still rising.. heh.
