So I was at dollpoint today

arrived in tokyo fairly late today from osaka... went to dollpoint.. all the AE stuff was savaged. there was next to nothing available... so sad.. wanted those outfits. Also out of L normal busts and 07 normal eye open heads.... osaka was out of bodies and 07 heads as well.

I picked up an eyes closed 07 to do my elf ear sculpting with, and a shapely L in osaka... kicking myself now for not getting the normal L as well, but shall try my luck in harajuku tomorrow.

Other goods I landed were a couple pairs of boots, some various hands and some wig care product.

I also dropped in on dollce and picked up some eyes and a pair of wigs. Such a tiny shop, you could easily trip over it.

would be nice if I could find some suitable outfits for my 2 girls.Still have mandarake to check out, my 2 travel companions are broken down with a stomach bug so I didn't want to push them too far from the station.

They want to check out odaiba but I don't think there will be anything there for me, so I might take that opportunity to return to akiba for a more thorough search.

Also at volks were a few gun model kits, some sword kits and whatnot. I'm running out of room in my luggage. lol.

Don't expect any DD body parts from Harajuku - it is Tenshi no Mado, a Super Dollfie only store.

(Instead, if going to Harajuku, go shopping at the awesome accessory store Alice on Wednesday, and mosy down Ta-ke-shi-ta [anti-filter] street and get a crepe at Marion Crepes).

If you go to Odaiba, right near there is LaLaPort Mall Tokyo Bay. It's a couple extra stops past Tokyo Teleport Station (where you'd get off for DiverCity, etc) - keep going on Rinkai line to where it ends at Shin-Kiba, then swap to Keio line for a couple stops to Minami-Funabashi. You walk a couple minutes to LaLaPort from there. It's a large regular shopping mall, but Volks has a normal Sumika store inside on 2F.

As SakyraSylph mentioned, the Harajuku showroom is Super Dollfie centered - BUT I've had some luck there finding outfits that were DD/SD sized that were sold out elsewhere

That's where I found the witch outfit from last September's release that sold out in Akihabara and the online store. Many DD owners don't bother going there anymore, but I always pop by to check out the lolita shops. If you are going to be in the area then it's worth the few moments of your time to visit - and the building is SO beautiful.

If you have time to pop down to Shinjuku station there's a Volks showroom on the 6/F of the ALTA building. If you take the Tokyo Metro it's on top of exit B13. If you take the JR then you'll have to follow the signs for ALTA (since I usually take the metro to get there, it's more convenient for me )

cool, might check it out then. the intel I had on the harajuku store was old, from the days they did all sales, but yeah, went through quickly but there wasn't much I liked.

I might check out odaiba my traveling companions are going out there to walk around but the L bust is the only thing on my sort of want list. I have yet to check out mandarake and the 2nd jungle store in akiba, as well as DOLF. I might just check out shinjuku cause it's right there, we're staying in asagaya.

I'm trying to formulate a route in my mind to hit up the locations you mentioned. Was hoping to find another shop like dollce that's selling wigs and clothes but I dont' think I can come up with anything else. I tracked down dollyteria...it was funny showing up to closet child with my traveling companions and they were milling around while I rifled through all the used stuff.

The Ikebukuro and Shinjuku ALTA locations of Volks have closed within the past year and a half or so, sadly to say. Tachikawa will also be closing on 4/30, to be closed for about one year while the building it's in (Chubu FROM) undergoes earthquake maintenance. Tachikawa is coming back in 2016, but Ikebukuro and Alta are not.

Akihabara and Harajuku will be all that's left in Tokyo Prefecture. (I think LaLaPort is technically in neighboring Chiba Prefecture).

(If you do find your way to that area of Shinjuku for other reasons, you could check out the Alice in Picture Book restaurant, Cat Cafe Calico, and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden - all right there within 10 minutes of the station).

well the original mission goals have been completed... dd3 body, extra hands, extra 07 head I will use as a mule... both L busts to see which I like more... some purple wigs, bonus eyes... 2 pair of boots, no outfits that suited what I wanted though.

the dollpa stuff was sold out, 08s and 09s were sold out, even though they had laminated cards inthe display to take to the cash.

I was at Dollpoint a day after you were, and I certainly noticed that a lot of stuff I was interested in was un available as well. Fortunately I was able to find MDD Rena there, so I adopted her and took her home.

The store in Akihabara was a huge eye opener for me. I'd never been to Japan before, but I loved every minute of it. Definitely going back for many reasons, but the dolls are definitely a significant one for me.

Now with +/- 15% more uncertainty!
