I believe "normal" hands are what Dollfie come with.

Volks has specific hands for Miku with green nail polish on them. Those may be the ones you are thinking of, but just in case here is the link.

The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be.

“Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction

If you are talking about the difference between large and normal hands---

Aside from the size difference, the larger hands have more detail to them. I don't own any of the larger sized regular hands, but I do have some of the more ... emotive hands?? I don't know what to call them... Action hands?

The pointing, idol & fist hands are large versions while the other four are regular size.

Depending on the angle and pose--- the size difference is really visible... Personally I like the larger hands for the detail in the fingers/fist. Whichever you decide, it's ultimately up to you and your personal preference on how the hands look.

The larger hands are noticeably larger, unless you know you want them I wouldn't recommend them. The normal hands are more... normal.

As Ayuuya said, the larger hands have different sculpts with more detail. The paper/outspread hands in the normal size are really flat, like this,

But the large hands of the same thing are a completely different gesture,

Mr.MVP uses large hands a lot in his photos.

But you don't want to mix & match large & normal hands, because that's really weird. For that reason, since you're new to this it'd be safer to get a bunch of normal hands.

I have only ever bought the larger hands. The smaller closed hands the dolls come with are great for sticking in Pockets.
