bitterfishies Posted April 10, 2015 We had two hornets fly into my apartment, and rather then wait them out like I usually do. My husband bought raid and spray the hornets. I'm terrified of stinging things so I ran into the bedroom. Afterwards I was scrubbing anything shiny to make sure our cats don't ingest any and I saw my MDD with specks of raid on her. I forgot I had her out for make clothes. I washed her with mild soap and water, but I'm not sure if raid has anything that will damage vinyl. Did I do ok? Or is she going to get stains and/or melting damage
K-2 Posted April 10, 2015 How does the vinyl look after washing? Does it look spotty? Did it leave a shiny or dull spot? There are tons of household chemicals that haven't been "tried" on vinyl so it's hard to say what will happen long term. If it hasn't reacted yet it's probably going to be okay. Just keep an eye on it for a few days and relax. Your girl knows it was an accident.
bitterfishies Posted April 11, 2015 So far it looks like she may have a few pin head specks. Nothing terrible, I may even be able to hide them with msc flat
