Hi everyone, I've been interested in BJDs from afar for a few years and I finally took the plunge and ordered my first doll a few days ago (MDD Rena.) I've been in love with BJDs ever since I saw Rozen Maiden, and now that I have a job I can finally actually pay for this expensive hobby! Lol.

Rozen Maiden seems to be a starting point for quite a few people.

 

You'll find lots of useful information and plenty of friendly people on the forum, so I hope you enjoy your time here.

 

Oh, and this is just the start of a slippery slope. You'll surely end up getting more, if you like your first girl. ^^;

And I know what you mean about the slippery slope... my doll hasn't even arrived yet, and I'm already thinking about what kind of character I'm going to make for my second doll! I wasn't expecting the addiction to start so fast.

A very belated welcome to you! I believe the Anime Rozen Maidens had a great deal of influence on many of us as a start of our interest in BJDs & DDs. I hope your MDD has arrived safe & sound and that your enjoying your time together with her. Congratulations on getting a job!
