MDDI and MDDIII wrist joint interchangeable?

anyone know if the MDDI and MDDIII wrist joints are interchangeable? I'm tried of spending 20 terrifying minutes to change my girls hands. Even with a hair dryer they just don't want to come off. I found a shapeways wrist replacement for MMDI.
