Sorry for the delay but somehow I forgot to post these!

 

Last month we had an outdoor meet at the James Island County Park. The weather was a bit hit and miss but for the most part we didn't get rained out. In between some light showers we managed to have some burgers and hot dogs as well as have our meet. We also had some new faces show up!

 

Before we left the house, Becca's girl Emiko changed her clothes so she could look good for everyone.... she was very excited about going to the meet.

Wonderful pictures as always! Do hope that I get a chance to see a Kanu in person one day (most likely that will happen when I visit you hehe). A double helping of Kanu is just lovely (*0*) How did you like finally seeing a Sasara in person? And I love the end of the post with Saber showing her displeasure~ How well do the thumbs up (or in this case thumbs down ) fit on DDs?

You weren't the only one. I think only 2 other people besides me took any pics out there.... a shame really as the place was pretty nice for that.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed them. If and when you do ever get out here to visit, you'll definitely see a Kanu up close and personal! I'm still giddy about getting her even tho it's been quite a while since I did. Having two of them in one spot was pretty darn cool too, first time I've seen that in person!

 

As for Sasara, she's a pretty girl for sure and her outfit is awesome. I'd love to have that outfit for my girls! But as for why people go so crazy for her and why her price stays so darn high? I just can't see it. Like I said, she's pretty but she's no Tamaki or Kanu or Mashiro. She just doesn't "do it" for me. I liked seeing her for sure but I won't be buying one for myself.

 

Silly Saber, she's always in a bad mood. Those hands actually work pretty well but you WILL have to heat them up to fit them onto the DD hand part. Even then it's not a perfect even seat against the ball joint in the wrist but it does work out pretty well from lots of different angles. Saber has had that hand for weeks now, she just enjoys giving thumbs down to just about every damn thing she can. LOL

Yep, we almost always have a lot of different dolls show up to our meets. Most of the regulars have now converted from resins to DD's but some of them still have a resin or two. And the Monster High girls seem to be gaining popularity too, probably because of the small sizes, affordability and ease of customizing. And yes, that is a Tiger and Bunny figure! I liked him well enuff but my fave is Tiger, he's way fun!

Thank you! We all had a good time for sure. And yes, we had lots of pretty girls there that I hadn't seen before so that was cool. Rei isn't very happy with her "boob sweater" but I certainly love it on her. It shows off her Peach Pai M+ chest very nicely! Double Kanu is dangerous for sure, nosebleeds were all around!

Thanks! I really enjoy meet ups too, there's always something new to see and talk about. Plus, lots of photo ops!
