concept first or doll first

okay so i will going to try to get a new dollfie this coming July but i dont know should i wait for it to arrive first than give a character concept or make a character concept than order the bollfie

It depends of what you have in mind, have you already have an idea for her? If not, maybe you can buy the DD you like the most, then buy her everything you like!!

If you already have an idea (is she sweet, or a bully girl?), buy one DD with a face that suits your idea!

I as well have this issue. My thing is I had to find a faceup that I liked. Some faces just looked too sad for me. Next I have to limit down my choices to make the concept or just use my dollfie as a model for photography etc.
