Chie out and about in Ghent

Yesterday was such beautiful weather that Chie and I did a small walk near the Sint Pieters train station in Ghent

 

This is the Sint Pieters train station.

Near SMAK museum. SMAK stands for 'Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst', translated as City Museum for Contemporary Art.

 

Near the Bijloke site. It has a museum, a conservatory, an abbey and much more. I haven't had the chance to visit the Bijloke site or SMAK museum but I'd like to some day.

 

The artwork is called 'The Cocoon'. It represents nature and garage bundled together to make people think about how we're treated our environment.

After this nice walk, we had to head home. Next time, I'd love to take Chie closer to the center and show you all the lovely sights there.

Very lovely photos! It's almost like your doll is acting as the tour guide. I love seeing different dolls in different countries.
