mitsuki Posted October 2, 2011 Long ago, there lived an ancient warrior of unrivaled power. All that is left of her is this bone fragment. Modern biotechnology can be used to bring her back to life. DNA can be isolated from the bone. Behold the ancient warrior's complete genome. More copies of the complete genome can be made using your favorite whole genome amplification kit. Next, the genome is added to enucleated ova. The mitochondria of the donor egg are left intact. Rin gazes at the blastocysts. Blastocyst rate of formation is sufficient to move onto implantation. Many complex steps were skipped, but now Rin has her clones. Cloning was successful and yielded three fantastic specimens. (Yes, one did not want to wear the bikini.) What will Rin do with her clone army? No one knows for sure...
scripple Posted October 2, 2011 So Rin's are responsible for cloning all the DDs out there eh? Well who created the RIns. I think she needs to work on her cloning process though. One of them doesn't want to wear a bikini? That's just bad quality control. Although at least her alternative outfit was a good choice as well, so I can understand why Rin that slide. Fun story, cool props. Check out my new DollFun website. Share your own doll photos with free image hosting.

jun97 Posted October 2, 2011 That was awesome! I never thought I would see three Kanus all together like that.
mitsuki Posted October 2, 2011 (edited) Thank you, scripple. You are right. Who created the Rins... Kanu does like to wear bikinis. She just doesn't like to be told to wear them. That could still be a quality control issue though. Thank you, jun97. Yes, three Kanus is quite rare. However, the Kanus will disband soon enough. One is going to her new home and is very excited. OtakuDepot Posted October 2, 2011 I approve of Rin's work in the lab and if she has any extras I'll be sure to send her my address!!! The Kanus look lovely, bikini or not! **James Otaku Depot's growing family. “Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.” ― Terry Pratchett, Jingo
Galvatim Posted October 2, 2011 Oh wow! And here I thought that was just a dinosaur bone... The three Kanus look lovely together! Rin is looking good in her lab coat and glasses too.
mitsuki Posted October 2, 2011 Thank you, OtakuDepot! I am glad you like your Kanus any way they come. I have to agree. Galvatim! I finally got them together. Yes, that bone is fantastic! Thank you so much for sending it. I think Rin is cute in a lab coat and glasses too. You are so right that 3 Kanus together is absolutely lovely! I am sure your Kanu can't wait to see you. baldylox Posted October 2, 2011 I never expected to see this today! Not only is your Rin amazing but for her to figure out how to clone Kanu.... that's insane! How much does she charge for materials and processing times? I want her to clone just ONE Kanu for me, that's all! I'm not greedy! I don't need three of them! Excellent idea for a story Mitsuki! All the cool stuff Rin was using was so nice to see! It looks like she has her own perosnal lab to use! And of course she is too pretty in her glasses and labcoat. I especially liked seeing the closeup of her form the side where you can see her eyelashes... very nice. As for the three Kanus.... so friggin hot! So what if one of them wanetd to wear her school set? She's awesome looking in it! But the one in the yellow bikini is great too, that light color against her darker skin is a great contrast. Plus, who can argue with the Kanu in blue? It goes with her eyes so well. Thanks for doing this post Mitsuki, it's so good! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

She even has an microscope! I just wanted thar Rin explained how cloning an M-bust DD can led to 3 DDdy. Not that I am complaining about it. Summon ritual is over. And finally complete. fenrir z78 Posted October 3, 2011 I just wanted thar Rin explained how cloning an M-bust DD can led to 3 DDdy. She used sugar an spice, and EVERY THING NICE. At or changed the scale on the copymachine.
mitsuki Posted October 3, 2011 Thank you all for the nice comments. Actually, the Kanus came from a dinosaur bone. I got it as a present from newest Kanu's oniichan. She will be united with her oniichan soon. I like the copy machine idea too though! PrettyCranium, I have taken my DDs to the lab before. Our institution is very diverse, so there are people here from Japan surprised to see Japanese dolls owned by Americans. Everyone here is very nice and they are always glad to see DDs. Galvatim Posted October 3, 2011 Aoi-chan wanted to say something as well... 012 by galvatim, on Flickr "Hi, Mitsuki-san! Thank you for taking good care of Kanu-chan. I'm looking forward to meeting her soon! Onii-chan has a bunch more of those old bones sitting around, can you use them to make me even more cute new friends?" I actually excavated these dinosaur bones myself, last summer! I'll try to put together a post about it in the off topic section later this week.
mitsuki Posted October 3, 2011 Aoi is so cute! I think we need to make more sisters for Aoi. I wish I could clone out a Louise. That is awesome that you are going to make a post of the dinosaur bones. They are so cool!

mitsuki Posted October 5, 2011 I wish I really could produce clones. I think the factory would be going around the clock. Galvatim's Kanu will be going home and disbanding the Kanu triumvirate.
littlebearries Posted October 7, 2011 I read this line: "More copies of the complete genome can be made using your favorite whole genome amplification kit." as "Home genome amplification kit" and wanted one of my own... granted, all those complicated skipped steps would be where I'd end up with little, sad puddles of plastic goo... it would be terrifying! This is a great photostory though
