Thank you for the forum Averis!

I have been a member of many different web forums over the years. Most were very impersonal, some were friendly, and unfortunately a good number were almost hostile. When I joined DollfieDreams.com back in March 2011 my friend Billy told me how nice people where here and how well everybody got along. I was skeptical at first but I decided to join.

 

As I spent more time on the forum I really saw what Billy told me about was true. I’m sure a good portion of this comes from the people who post here. Maybe the higher price of our Dollfie Dreams helps make sure there is a more mature group of people here? But I like to think we just have a very good place to enjoy our hobby, learn from each other, and show off pictures of our girls that we are so proud of.

 

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Averis for this wonderful forum he’s created and maintains for us to spend time in. Not only for the effort he put into setting it up but also for the work he continues to do to maintain the site and keep it running smoothly.

 

 

Unfortunately Yoko couldn’t join her sisters as she’s finishing up her stain treatments and will be finishing soon.

 

Thank you Averis for making a wonderful home on the web for Dollfie Dream parents. My girls and I just wanted to say thanks!

I totally agree with OtakuDepot! I treasure my time here on the forum. I can't say that I have really been part of other forums but I don't need to. This place Averis created is wonderful. I don't want to go anywhere else. This is really a special place.

Thanks for making this post, it's long overdue in my opinion. Averis has really done well with this forum and I absolutely cherish my time here.

 

I've been on many other forums before and they have all been up and down, good and bad. But the comraderie and overall positive vibes this place totally destroys any other I've been a member of. Yes, we have had the occasional hiccup but overall, this cimmunity is great and it wouldn't be so had Averis not given a place to meet and talk about our girls.

 

So thank you from my DD family to yours Averis!

I feel so well here that I am always wanting to post something, see everyone pics... I never felt like this in a forum. When I see the pics of each DD is like I know each one of them personally! I kind fell that everyone is a part of my family. I really hope that someday I can meet you!

Gah, no, it doesn't - I don't peek here too often. But yes, thank you Averis. It's nice to be on a forum where everyone is friendly like this. But how can you NOT be in a good mood with so many cute girls around?

Everyone has been friendly on the forum, and on the IRC channel, even though I don't post or talk much. Sometimes, I wish there was a version of this site for MSDs (the Volks kind :3) since I haven't found many of the other BJD sites to be very inviting.
