One Year Anniversary Party!

Today marks one year since my Rei and Yoko arrived home. Altho Rei and Yoko haven't made a fuss over it, it seems her sisters have and they planned a surprise party for them!

 

Here is everyone just hanging out this morning in the kitchen.

 

 

Mai and Mou-chan are "fighting" to see who is better at foosball. Yoko is the line judge and is keeping score.

 

 

Mamimi is playing online.

 

 

Rei and Sango are chatting.

 

 

Elisabeth and Yukino are playing with stuffed animals.

 

 

And Miyuki is playing video games.

 

 

Manami - "Psst... it's time. Yall know what to do."

 

Mai & Ryomou - "Gotcha!"

 

 

"Yoko! Can you come and sit down here for a minute?"

 

 

Y - "Hey Rei, what's up?"

 

R - "I have no idea."

 

 

SURPRISE! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

 

 

Y - "Hooray! A party!"

 

M - "Rei, happy anniversary. You thought we forgot didn't you?"

 

R - "I...I suspected something was amiss!"

 

M - "Sure you did....."

 

 

Manami - "Ok you two, these first two presents are from Mamimi and I! Open them up!"

 

Miyuki - "Presents! Presents!"

 

 

R - "Oh how nice... a black skirt."

 

Manami - "Flip the package over silly and look at the awesome shirt I got you!"

 

 

R - "Is.... is this Snoopy?"

 

Manami - "YES! It's Joe Cool!"

 

 

Y - "Ooooo! A burgundy dress with a huge flower on it! So pretty!"

 

 

M- "Open my present next Oneesan!"

 

R - "Alright Miyuki, thank you for getting it for me."

 

 

R - "Ahh, an all white version of the dress Yoko got. How nice."

 

Miyuki - "Yeah! Now you two can match!"

 

 

Y - "You got this for me Elisabeth?"

 

E - "Y...yeah. I wasnt sure what you would like but Papa helped us pick things out."

 

 

Y - "AWESOME! A sleeveless T! You did great Elisabeth!"

 

E - "I did? Yay!"

 

 

Me - Before you open those next gifts can I get pictures of them?

 

R - "Okay Papa."

 

 

Y - "Look Papa! Isn't it cute?"

 

 

S - "I got you some cool black lace stockings. I knew you needed some for those outfits you've been wearing lately."

 

R - "These are very nice Sango. Thank you for noticing that I needed them. It looks like Yoko got some as well."

 

S - "Yes, she also needed some to go with her "teacher" outfit."

 

 

Ryomou - "Next is my gift Rei! Open it!"

 

Rei - "Yes yes, I shall."

 

 

Ryomou - "We knew you liked that other shirt like this but after Yoko wore it, her boobs stretched out the front too much. So we got you a new one that will fit you better!"

 

Rei - "Wow... I had no idea you knew about that. Thank you."

 

 

M- "Now Papa and I got you this gift Yoko."

 

Y - "I see that!"

 

 

Y - "Eeeeee! It's the red version of Mai's outfit!"

 

M - "Yep! We knew you had been wanting it so we got one for you."

 

 

Y - "Oh thank you so much Mai! Now we can dress up like twins!"

 

M - "You're welcome Yoko. And yes, we should do that soon, I think it will be really cute!"

 

 

Manami - "Can we have refreshments now Papa? Can we?"

 

Sango - "Yes, I think it's past time to eat."

 

Miyuki - "Mmmm! Brownies!"

 

 

Manami and I made brownies last night when all the others were asleep. And the drink cans you see here were sent to me by my friend Battrastard out in Arizona!

 

 

It looks like Yoko has already changed into one of her new outfits. She is getting all sorts of "oohs" and "ahhs" from her sisters.

 

 

"Papa! Papa! Look! Isn't it just adorable?"

 

Oh yes Yoko, that looks so sweet! I'm glad you like it.

"I decided to try out a new outfit as well. I suppose it fits me."

Thanks! I was originally going to give Yoko the Snoopy set but after seeing it in person, I knew it had to go to Rei.

Thank you very much! It was a pretty big party, it took a while to get all that stuff together and arranged properly. I'm glad you liked the soda and brownies.... the girls sure did! I like the clothes I got for them too. I had an order in for Alices Collections and was hoping it would show up in time for this. I got lucky and had the clothes 2 weeks before.

Heh, I suppose it's a bit of both altho if it were birthdays, I'd have to do two parties since Rei was adopted 3 days before Yoko was. But I think doing an anniversary is better than doing birthdays. It keeps things simple and easy to manage. Plus I use the date they arrived at my house for the anniversary date. I can keep track of that thru pictures I took of opening them up.

 

As for the wallet issue, I had already ordered these clothes about a month ago as part of a group order with the girl who made Manami originally. So I had planned to give them clothing anyways, it was just neat that the amount of clothes I got matched with how many girls I have.

Dude, you have no idea. I have THREE of those plastic storage containers that are designed to slide under your bed completely full of clothing and accessories now. And one of the clothes ones wont close all the way due to the top pushing up because of too many clothes inside. I guess I'll have to go and buy another one of those to have more room.

 

I had thought about building out my walk in closet thats in the computer room and using it as the girls "house" but there is no A/C or heat duct in there. So that closet changes temps all year. I already store all my old Star Wars toys in there and use a de-humidifier to keep things at a dry level. So I can't take that closet. And the only other 2 closets I have in the house are being used for my clothing. So the next thing I could do is empty the extra dresser in the spare bedroom and house stuff there!

 

Man that's just sad that my girls have more clothing than me and its all 1/3 scale! And it STILL takes up more space than MY clothes do!
