But it is so hard to say no to Yukino! She is even prettier now!

 

NO!!! I hate how they made her sadder! The original faceup is the One True Faceup for that head, I swear. All you have to do is see how Alicia Yumiko Natsume photographs...that little hint of a Mona Lisa smile is forever lost with the new faceup. Depending on context she can display several moods.

 

Now, the new Aoi faceup, on the other hand, is moving in the right direction. She looks pouty, not like she's ready to disembowel you. It's one of those expressions you see on runway models all the time. However, the L-bust would disqualify her from the runway, alas. Models are more like a M or even an S. Well there is one place she could model...Victoria's Secret...

Aoi and Yukinos slip sets are unique to them I think and I haven't seen Volks list them for purchase separately. My Yukino didn't come with her slip or undies since I bought her used on Ebay but I was able to find some for sale on Flickr. If you keep checking around there, here and Ebay, you'll find a set eventually.

The new Aoi is so cute.

Aoi 2.0 looks cute, no doubt. But I still prefer the first version. I think the attitude and look of Aoi 1.0 just grew on me and I prefer her now.

That's too bad. Tempting to buy the doll to get it, but then I'd just want to keep the doll too. I guess I'll keep an eye out then.

Everything should be set up on my end now- I just have to wake up, go to the train, and get to Volks before 10AM. :3

 

I'm thinking of picking up the Rusty Tartan set, as well as one of the DDIII dolls.

She is quite cute.

Aoi V2 is quite adorable! Her features are much softer looking now. And she's not nearly as upset looking as before. I can see her selling a lot more now that she isn't so Tsun Tsun looking. I still love the first version tho, she's awesome.

I like the second Aoi...though the waist for the DDIII look a bit......to small to me O.O i dunno its just my preference. Anywho I LOVE LOVE LOVE the apprentice maid dress

She really does look cute!! Much softer and versatile in in emotion!! However. i still prefer the Aoi v1!! I love girls with a bit of an attitude, plus you dont see to many dollfies these days that look more serious!! (at least not to my knowledge)

I could definitely see myself purchasing Aoi Ver. 2 (in the future perhaps) because she is quite the cutie! Aoi Ver. 1 does have a serious look to her, but it is nice to have a variety of expressions on DDs to make things interesting

 

Plus I like how her face up is much lighter than the previous version, mostly on the lips for me :3 And she has lashes painted on which make her even more lovely.

I don't know how I feel about this head mold yet. It may be just that it's too early for people to truly be playing with this mold, but so far these all feel too. . . I don't know, sane for my personal taste.
