Innocentsake Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) As always glad to see more people making videos Unfortunately I've had absolutely no time to do any video recording Being social with friends & running errands have been filling my weekends. May have to get some new lights in my doll room and start recording at night because I really miss making videos I decided I was going to be a cool kid, too. So I made a video of me opening my Yoko! Watched your video and I'm happy to see that pinkcake's Yoko went to a good home As for the music in your video you could always use something like Windows Movie Maker or VideoPad Video Editor. That way you can add as much music as you like I tried using YouTube's built-in editing, but it wouldn't work for me at all Finally got around to uploading my first one! It was nice hearing about how you found your way into the DD "Black Hole" haha Next chance I get I'll be sure to leave a proper comment. Look forward to your next one~ Edited October 7, 2015 by Guest

Mimiyo3 Posted September 28, 2015 I haven't watched all of it yet, but I have to say your Dad is awesome. I know! He's a really cool guy. For the time being I kept tabs of what he spent and I plan on paying him back when I'm more financially on my feet. As for from now on, I'm paying for things myself. Present! archangeli Posted November 11, 2015 Months of silence and then 2 super duper LONG videos (no, I'm not exaggerating! They are almost 40 mins long each!) This is Sheryl's unboxing video - And here's Ranka's unboxing video - The most amusing parts of these is random appearances by curious cats Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
Minuette Posted November 11, 2015 Ahhhh~! I'm living vicariously through your videos right now. The more I see of the girls, the more I regret not ordering. I didn't have much money at the time they went up for preorder, and I had no idea that I'd be in as good a financial situation as I am now... Oh well. I would have done exactly what you did and ordered everything. Sheryl's casual date set just kills me with how cute it is. It's going to be hard to get on the aftermarket, I bet. I'm so happy for you, though!
glynjay Posted November 11, 2015 I think its a great idea. I'm just getting into the hobby so I would like to do these along with the bjd videos I'm going to be starting soon

They both look really nice. And i see you have an awesome collection already! These videos help really much as they give a good real impression of how great they look in real life. Sometimes with photos, they do not really show how they look like in real life.

Innocentsake Posted November 15, 2015 Happy to see all the DD videos continuing to pop up here & there I really need to make one myself as it has been forever~ The last one I made was the night before LA Dolpa which I was supposed to do a video right after, but never got the chance. At least I get to watch videos while I'm not able to make any Ahhhh~! I'm living vicariously through your videos right now. The more I see of the girls, the more I regret not ordering. I'm so happy for you, though! While I don't regret not pre-ordering the girls I am in the same boat as you in terms of Sheryl's Casual Date Outfit. I really should have pre-ordered at least that one since it was my favorite of the extra outfits. Now that I'm seeing it on dolls in owner pictures the regret has hit ^^;; But I'll just wait to see if I find one for the retail (or very close to it) since all the ones I'm seeing now are double the price which is way too much >_<
PerlaNemesis Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) This is just a great idea! Too bad I didn't discover it earlier when days weren't so dark and gloomy. But hopefully I will be able to make something before Christmas. archangeli Posted December 6, 2015 I love Unboxing videos! And these are the girls I really want to get my hands on now. Than you for sharing =) It was my pleasure! Thanks for watching So... a project that I've been planning out loud to InnocentSake and Jezatron for a few months now was to do a video showing LIVE how fast and horrible staining could be... Well... I've done it. I had a request for a before and after video so I'll do that as well once I start the stain treatment @_@" Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli

SisterKyoya Posted December 7, 2015 There is one type of black fabric that I've made Tama some pants from that I belatedly found out stains at the pressure points (behind the knees or the elastic waistband) after a few hours. I thought it would be a safe fabric because it was from a skirt I made and wore for 2-3 years and washing more times than I can count. The only other things I've personally found that are rapid stainers is black lace and dark colored headcaps (Leekeworld & Volks.) Even so, it was pretty shocking seeing just exactly how quickly the stain monsters leave their mark. Archangeli do you have a video up talking specifically about the Volks stain removal stuff? How does it compare to the zit cream option? ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
jadepixel Posted December 7, 2015 It was painful to watch stains happening in real time >.< That treacherous Sasara dress, so cute but deadly! I've inadvertently done the fingerprint transfer stains before and that's just the worst feeling. At least in my case it was on bust parts and not hard to fix. I'm planning to try the rescue cream on a SWS body soon so hopefully it works for me too! jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
Cinnamoron Posted December 7, 2015 Wow Archangeli! Kudos for being brave enough to film staining on camera! I have to admit I was cringing the whole video. On another note, your videos are so nice- I can't get over it! The lighting and sound quality are really good; thank you for taking the time to make and share them with us! Can't wait for the next one!

I'm going to remove the first application that I did on Saturday (after this video was made) and I'll check how the progress was. I'm going to need a second application on the arms for sure. I Smurfed them a lot @_@ Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
sklurk Posted December 8, 2015 You know I don't think it's dye necessarily getting on your hands, I think it's your skin oils that react with the pvc and the dyes/fabric/thread. The dye would probably leech in by itself but the oil might have a tendency to expedite this process. I have a pair of green pants that started to yellow on spots that I handled them a lot. Most likely due to my sweat from trying to work them through my sewing machine. Also, when I ordered this outfit: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/194062 the cardboard inside the blouse was stained pink. You could clearly see the line where the fabric edge was, the neck area was whiter (still pinkish though) but the dye leeched out by itself. Skin oils would be far more plausible than phantom dye that doesn't appear on skin. I have yet to see any dye or pigment that is one color on a surface and come off invisible only to transfer onto another surface. Anyone willing to try a bit more with that sasara blouse? lol. Touch your nose (it's natually pretty oily) touch the blouse.. then touch the sacrificial piece that's clean.. dishsoap takes oils off nicely. Don't put the fabric on it... then take the fabric that's clean, if you dare to wash it with hand soap or dishsoap... wearing gloves to get the oils off it and then put a clean sacrificial part on it and see what happens. I'd try it for science but I don't have said stain monster. Even the red blouse I linked above took a few days to stain, and it only leeched into the edges that were in contact with the fabric. Regardless... it's pretty scary that things can discolor so fast with blacks.
Mimiyo3 Posted December 8, 2015 Daaaang that blouse is bad! Shame, it's a really pretty outfit. Anyways, I'm hoping to get some time for filming soon. SisterKyoya Posted December 8, 2015 I've really been wanting to do more videos too but time is the last thing I have at the moment. Managed to be awake and working for 38-40 hours earlier this week because I've got so much to do. (It wasn't intentional and I still don't know how I managed it. Slept for 11 hours straight after that. ) Still, I keep thinking about what I want to do once I have the free time to even attempt it. I really do enjoy listening to the DD videos done by the rest of you since I'm almost always working on or near my computer. Some days I feel like a master multitasker. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
archangeli Posted December 10, 2015 Two videos in a week for me!! This is a follow up to the staining video. Someone asked me to dobleepent my results with the Dream Rescue so here it is - Two applications over the course of 4 days and the legs are back to normal but the bust and arms will still need a few more treatments. Visible improvement on all the stained areas; the cream is easy to apply and remove, has almost no odour (unless you stick you face up to it), needs only water to clean up and didn't change the surface of the doll at all (no blisters or texture change). I'm not sure how this turned into 22 minutes... I ramble too much Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
SisterKyoya Posted December 11, 2015 In the video you said that the cream was a 'bleaching agent' (not sure if it just happened to be the phrase you used) but it made me wonder a bit if it could do anything for reducing the yellowing on WS bodies. Yuriko has been handled and loved a lot the last 3+ years and she is definitely yellow compared to when she was new. I know Raven isn't worried about it but there have been times when I've wondered if it could be fixed. Just wondering if you might have any thoughts on that. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

I've never needed to do stain treating on anything other than NS and SWS bodies. Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
Mimiyo3 Posted December 11, 2015 I'm curious about whether or not this would help with yellowing or not as well. None of my girls have anything like that going on, so I can't answer it. Present!
