New display & pics of the girls

I recently decided to change up some display areas in my computer room and in doing so made space for more of my girls to hang out. It frees up some room in my crowded bedroom as well as gives some of the girls more time to hang with me while I'm online and such. So I figured I'd share some pics of the display spot and a few of the girls too.

It used to be in an electronics store I worked at years ago but it made for a cool way to show off my old Star Wars stuff. Now the girls have taken over it. I added the small wooden shelf and spaced it so the MDD girls could stand up on it easily and leave room for the larger DD girls to stand below it. The 40cm and MDD girls fit nicely but Minako and Louise are 45cm and can't stand on the top shelf.

Dear quiet little Kino.... she likes the idea of being closer to me as well as having a spot that's sized a bit better for her and her MDD sisters.

Umi is wearing some clothes I picked up here on the forum marketplace. The top is a little tight but I like the style on her.

Lyssa can be a little shy and awkward at times but she's a good girl. I just gave her new eyes and a different wig. I really like her more with these purple eyes!

This wig is cute too and she may use it in the future but she now has her real default wig to use, I like that better for now.

Thank you! I agree with you there, having so many girls in one cramped area must be annoying for the girls who want some space. I think this retreat works out well for everyone.

Poor Saber my foot. She has her pick of outfits to wear so she can grab whatever frilly and pretty outfits she wants to.... *if* she wants to. I think she prefers to just complain about it instead.

That dress is a Volks set, an older one at that. I have it's twin that's a light purple so when I saw this one on Mandarake for $40, I snapped it up. Sadly, it's missing the little hat that's supposed to come with it but for the money, I'm very happy with it.

 

Pictures like yours make me more and more convinced I need one.

The brown wig on Lyssa....does it come in purple? I've been trying to find a wig that looks similar to Alice Kuonji and it's been difficult. I'm trying to create a custom with a certain look and it's so frustrating when limited DD's have super cute wigs, but you can't buy items separately without paying gobs of money.

Love the new display area. That's a really great cozy spot for your girls, plus like you said they don't always have to be all cramped together, I wish I had the space to do something similar.

 

Your MDD girls are looking adorable like always. I also love Lyssa with the purple eyes and that wig is a cute casual alternative. I also really adore her kitty hoodie. I have to dig, but I think I might have one just like that too...lol!

Love your display area! I love the arrangement of the furniture on the shelving type units. the cool thing is that it almost looks like those shelves you see in stores that they hang the wires on. Haha. Petulant Saber is Petulant. it was pretty cute seeing Yoko scold her. Lyssa is beautiful. The more I see her, the More I want an Alna.

I have no idea about the short wig on Lyssa, it doesn't have a tag inside so I don't know who makes it, sorry. I know how you feel on the wigs tho, it sucks to have to pay thru the nose for stuff.

Thanks again! I am sooooo in love with those eyes in Lyssa! It made a huge difference in how she looks, I'm super happy I tried them out. And yes, that short wig looks nice as an alternate on her. guess who used to use that one? Yukino! It was hers before I got her 2 toned one she has now.

 

And I'm betting you DO have that hoodie, it looks like your girls style for sure.

Yeah right! She's way too demanding, your girls couldn't take her crap for more than an hour. And you know we have lots of stuff she can wear here, she just enjoys whining about it, that's all.

Thank you sir! I tried to put some comfy looking stuff there so it looks like a cozy nook. As for the shelves, that display WAS in a store! It was in a Tweeter store and it held MP3 players and accessories on hooks and in a clear locking case on top. I keep all my Nendoroid Petites in the clear case. They were going to throw out the whole display so I grabbed it for free.

Yoko is normally super happy and cheerful but when she has to get Saber in line, she can be a little scary. But that's what it takes to keep Saber in line. And thanks on Lyssa! I'm so happy I was able to get her. She's gorgeous in person and if you get one, you'll see why she's so popular.
