MDD Questions

Hello,

 

I just received my first MDD and I've been trying to find some answers to a few questions. Is there a list here for Volks releases of MDDs with dates? What year did Volks do the newest MDD body? And I'm sorry if these answers are easily found. I am new and a doofus

There's only been two MDD bodies released, the original and MDD3. MDD3 was released mid-2012 I believe together with the release of Cirno. The standalone parts/bodies weren't introduced until October 2012.

No, nothing is interchangeable.

I have a question where can you find MDD pictures due to l am trying to find some and there a pain in the butt to find.

 

I was wondering as well what eyes are best for the volks #4 and #6 heads? Those two heads well be on a MDD body.

22mm I think is best for either head. Though the 06 head isn't the best match on the MDD body because it looks a little mature and therefore big. Unfortunately I can't find the photos I took of 06 on MDD body >_<

My 04 and 06 are both wearing 24mm eyes. I prefer for them to look cute and doe eyed, not startled like some 22mm eyes will look.

I think the #6 volks head would make a cute vampire. I forgot to say she well have mudiem sized boobs lol so she well not be too young and so the head should work just fine.

Thanks for this useful info! I've been researching what kind of eyes for my MDD I'm putting together and I didn't know 22mm or 24mm. I like the cute/doe eye look, so I think that might lead me in a better direction.

I order the number #4 head in NS and the upper part for her head/arms. On a side note l didn't know that it would cost alot for two things from volks lnc shopping web site.

Yawafuta is the soft cap version, squishy so you can easily use your hands to pull the head cap off, unlike the older/normal version in which you need a lever and brute strength to wrestle the hard cap off

I'd like to note that last night while playing with mdd girls, that yes, it may be possible on some aspects to interchange parts.

 

I took mdd2 wrist out and was able to put mdd3 wrist into the mdd2 socket fairly well.

 

I took mdd2 arm/shoulder out and was able to put mdd3 arm/shoulder into mdd2 shoulder socket but it was a bit loose, so maybe the nail polish trick will need to be put in place. Also the shoulder looked different height to the other, so if replacing Arms both will need to be replaced for a symmetrical look.
