So my roomate which got into Dollfies when I moved in with him wants to enter for Mariko, but I want to enter for Mariko too, what should we do? I don't want my account banned and he would need to create a new account..

It would be best for him to put a different address for his account. As for the IP just make sure that whoever enters while on the home wi-fi that the other can use their phone off the wi-fi that way you won't be using the same IP number. This is what my husband & I did when we entered for Sasara & both of us won. Volks International will definitely check those things~

No problem With my husband's account we put down our address and for my account I put down my parent's address. I was home when my Sasara arrived and at my parent's house they left a pick-up slip at their house since no one was home to sign for it. Then I just picked up that Sasara (who went to a friend) at my parent's post office with the slip they left so I could sign & take it home.

The only thing is the account with the address you don't actually live at you'll have to pay for your win with PayPal. Because with Volks International when paying with your debit/credit card it will only go through with the address you have it registered with. Which means whoever puts down the address they don't actually live at will have to pay the fees charged when paying with PayPal.

 

So when I paid for my friend's Sasara with the money she sent me it was an extra 2,680 Yen for "Handling Fees" for using PayPal. Also when I paid for that Sasara I made sure to change my preferred shipping address to my parent's address for that transaction.

When paying with your card there isn't a place to change your address. Everything else is already filled in except your card number & expiration date. Volks International uses a very archaic system that doesn't allow you to change it.

 

I also tried to use my husband's card when paying for the Sasara on my account (because I was too lazy to grab my card) and it would not go through. It would absolutely not go through using a card that wasn't in my name.

 

(Note: This is my experience with not being able to use a card not under my name. If someone else has actually been able to use a card not under their name then that's great Just sharing what I know to be true for me.)

You can probably put a very small amount of putty in the ear to alleviate that

I suspect that the ears will be held on with strong magnets so shouldn't fall off.

It's nice being able to see clear hi-res photos of everything

 

Even though I'm not going for Kirika I still like that her ears are removable and look forward to seeing how they are attached (whether by pressure or magnets). I would like to see this made into a standard item, but who knows with Volks~ I was surprised when I read that the ears were made of resin. Wonder if there were problems trying to make them out of vinyl or if they even tried and just went straight for the resin Stalking the Group Splits section for anyone wanting to part with her ears, but I suspect I may have a hard time finding someone not wanting them

 

I've been thinking about what sort of character Mariko would become should I win her. I've already told myself that even if I don't win that there will be another chance in the future that way I won't be too sad if I lose Still fun to think of all the details beforehand to pass the time~

I think I'm going to try for the DD and DDDy Chinoise dresses and the SS bust sundress. I think the two Chinoise dresses would look cute on Sheryl and Ranka.

Haha I say it's on topic since she appears in the scans wearing the items that will be released She is really cute! And I really wish they would make those blue Dollpoint wigs standard since I would totally buy one for my Rhea. If you do make a DDS girl with an 01 head I look forward to seeing how she turns out
