New DDs (Kirika,Alisa, and Mariko)

Entered for Kirika, never entered a lottery until now so here's hoping c: Love Mariko too but her face looks a bit too sad for me

I want next week to be here already Just want to know if I got Mariko or not so I can move on with my dolly life haha Really hoping everyone here can get some sort of good news for these girls.

 

Did they ever show how the earrings work on Kirika with her elf ears? Either there's a predilled hole, or it's magnets, or they're expecitng people to do that bit themselves?

 

Hng, I only entered once so here's hoping.

I never saw anything showing how the earrings would be attached There will most likely be an indent on the earlobe to show you were to drill the hole like with Melty & Sakuya. Really wish they had taken more close-ups of Kirika's ears & elf ears to show to everyone.

 

About a week until winners' notifications start coming out!!

I'm exactly the same, at this point I just need to know if I’ve won Kirika or not. If I do win her, I will keep her and I’m sure I’ll be happy but it will mean I can’t progress with the custom doll project I impulsively started (curse you Mandarake and your ridiculously cheap dd heads). If I don’t win Kirika, it will mean I have the funds to plow full steam ahead into my impulse purchase custom doll project which will also make me very happy.

 

Because I have other doll things I want to do, I don’t think I’ll be too sad if I don’t win, but of course of me part of me still hopes I do win too

My girlfriend and I have dubbed this waiting period the Lottery Limbo, where you have money set aside for the lottery but you don't know what the results are so you can't spend anything at all. E.g. doll projects you want to work on, or someone is selling a doll you want.

 

I'd much prefer to get the whole thing over with quickly, I thought the wait was bad with lotteries before but this is just agonizing!

Agreed... this is my first time joining the lottery Limbo but 'normally' it was over within 3 days, but we've been waiting for over a month now!

This period makes me feel like you are waiting on a pre-order with no promise to get an actual item at the end. (Luckily, not a standard Volks pre-order though.)

 

Lookin' forward to seein' who wins and who gets to crawl into a corner and cry because I feel like the especially long wait makes for one hell of a additional salt in the wound moment for when you lose.

I've been counting down the days until next Monday! This is my first lottery and my husband also entered, so each of us has a chance to win Mariko. Hopefully one of us is lucky but I'm trying not to get my hopes up!

They must have gotten a LOT more entries than they thought.

I'm trying to be optimistic, maybe they've made a biiiiiiiiig batch of dolls this time so need the extra time to tell so many people they have won? HAHA, a girl can dream~

That's...really disappointing, wow. It's going to be pretty heart breaking if neither of us wins.

I've know people with 4 and 5 entries who have failed to win anything. I had 3 entries for the original release of Melty and we didn't win anything either.

 

I would always assume the stance of 'I won't win', then it's only a good surprise if you do actually win XD

This is my first lottery and the delay is a bit but got no choice to wait a bit longer

So instead of waiting around to know if I won Mariko during my very easy mid-shifts next week, I get to wait until my closing shift on Friday! Yaaay~ Or possibly later.

I wish they would just announce the results already, even if I don't win I want to know so I can pursue other temptations. I haven't won a Volks lottery in a while, the last time I won was Cirno who I put one entry for which is hilarious considering I entered her almost as an after thought while putting in many entries for Rise who I did not win no regrets though as I love MDD

Mariko is so cute!!!! I always loved her so much!!! I like Alisa's face sculpt as well, but that new bust piece they use on her just looks weird to me XD Other than that I like her! And Kirika is so cute too!!
